In debates around the issues of pornography and prostitution, a common question his how relevant it when individuals comes forth with their positive experience (since the bigger issue is at a more structural level). However, it’s hard to fault Jade: Why I Chose Porn for something like this, because whilst it solely focuses on one individual with a positive outlook on pornography – it pleasingly never claims to paint the whole picture. This is simply her story, with all the up- and downsides it brings and it’s simply thoroughly fascinating.
With its 40 minute-runtime, the film feels concise and manages to get a lot of answers out of Jade…
I think this was on Chennel 4, or 5 long ago, but this was a very thought provoking documentary in my book. And the actress is very beautiful.
Hope to see this again on TV someday.
