Jackie Chan Announces New Action-Comedy Film Set to Begin Shooting in 2025

Hong Kong, April 11, 2025 – Legendary martial artist and actor Jackie Chan has revealed plans for his next major film project, an action-comedy tentatively titled 'The Last Heist.' The 70-year-old star confirmed the news in an exclusive interview with Global Cinema Today, promising fans a return to his signature blend of high-octane stunts and humor.

Chan, who has starred in over 150 films, described 'The Last Heist' as a 'fun but emotional ride,' following the story of a retired thief (Chan) who is pulled back into one final mission to save his family. The film will reportedly feature elaborate fight sequences, including a jaw-dropping climax filmed on location in Dubai.

'I know people say I should slow down, but action is in my blood,' Chan joked. 'This might be one of my biggest stunt films in years—don’t tell my insurance company!'

Rumors suggest that 'The Last Heist' could also feature surprise cameos from past collaborators, possibly including Chris Tucker (Rush Hour) or Michelle Yeoh. Production is set to begin in late 2025, with an expected 2026 release.
