AND, something new that I JUST noticed: when Leia's looking out the window of the Sail Barge and Jabba yanks her chain, look carefully at her chain. It's situated on the BACK of her neck. Jabba pulled the chain, she yelped, and somehow she went from over at least four feet away from him right up onto his throne and against him--and the chain is on the FRONT of her neck. Now there are two problems with this: one, obviously, the chain switched sides. Two, I think that one hard tug, regardless of Jabba's strength, would simply not be enough to make her go that whole distance. I think that he pulled the chain, she yelped, maybe stumbled, but then moved the rest of the distance ON HER OWN--in other words, she knew well enough that if Jabba pulled the chain, she had to go to him. More evidence that he had laid force upon her to the point of her knowing her place around him--always by his side.

Read the story "The Slave Princess", by Shabby Blue. It shows EXACTLY what happened to Leia during her time in the palace.
There is too much evidence in the movie that hints at Jabba enslaving Leia for sexual purposes--for although Hutts are hermaphrodites, they assume gender roles. Jabba was male, but lacking sexual organs, he got off on the pain and suffering in others; by making Leia a sex slave, she would experience much of these--especially from sexual abuse. And anyway, Jabba DOES have hands, a tongue, and a nice long tail...so there.

I'm just GUESSING ;) here, but I imagine that slave collars aren't riveted to people's necks. OK, the leather ones may fit a bit snug (another wild guess), but have you looked at metal ones? (I certainly NEVER would have done this. Nope. Never.) *snicker*
Anyway, it was clear that when she was resisting Jabba later that there is a reason the chain ended up in the front. She was holding onto the chain while trying to tug-o-war with Jabba. They showed us this.

Leia wanted to struggle some, but then ultimately used her chain to kill Jabba.
She couldn't have strangled him using her chain if she hadn't come that whole distance. It also helped to force the old slug to struggle a bit trying to reel her in first, with the hopes that he'd be out of breathe by the time she strangled him.
Whooops, I just "tried" to argue. Didn't I? What are you going to do to me now? Don't for a minute think about turning me or anybody else into Jabba's *SEX* slaves. Why? 'cause like Leia and her "magic" chain, we now know how to escape. =P

After the death of her friends Leia Organa comes to terms with the fact she will remain a slave for the rest of her life. But a double cross from a rival crime syndicate inadvertantly frees Leia from Jabba's grasp, only to fall into the hands of a much greater threat
Leia has to deal with the consequences of being Jabba's permanent slave after the execution of her friends. The Hutt shows her off to his guests,men and other Hutts as well, dealing with his constant yanks, pulls on her chain and sexual pleasures of Jabbba, and humiliation he does to the princess, as he treats her like a royal slave.
Although Princess Leia had successfully freed Han Solo from carbonite, she and her lover were immediately captured by the crime lord Jabba the Hutt...
This story is a sequel to my original work, "The Priceless Slave: An Expanded Alternate Ending." This story, as with its predecessor, takes place in a alternate storyline where Princess Leia Organa found herself as a permanent slave to Jabba the Hutt following his execution of her friends at the Pitt of Carkoon. This story takes place two months after the events of the first story. It is also structured the same as the original story, with each chapter being told from the perspective of a different character within the story.
Long has there been speculation as to what exactly went on between Princess Leia and Jabba the Hutt while he held her captive as his slave in Return of the Jedi. At long last, here is the definitive, unexpurgated volume illustrationg what exactly had occurred during her time with him.
After fleeing to a desolate swamp planet and ravishing the hostage Princess Leia Organa, Jabba the Hutt has sent for one of his other dancing girls to be brought to keep his newest slave company. Operating undercover as the dancing girl "Aricia," the Emperor's Hand Mara Jade finds herself stranded alongside the Rebel Princess. Her mission to kill Luke Skywalker remains unfulfilled, but now she must contend with her Hutt captor's lustful advances like never before, as well as a surprising new friendship with Leia. Meanwhile, Luke Skywalker must continue his journey to become a Jedi Knight and hope that the Force can lead him to his lost friend...
Fearful of a confrontation with aspiring Jedi Knight Luke Skywalker, Jabba the Hutt has fled Tatooine to an uninhabited swamp planet where he can hide out and bide his time.
