Bukhara and Samarkand are two historical cities over 2500 years old, pearls of the East, enchanting with their incomprehensibility and mystery.


These cities, which managed to go through millennia, through difficult trials, and at the same time preserve not only madrasahs, minarets and mosques, not only entire medieval districts with ancient public buildings, but also the special spirit of the old city.


Orzu Travel invites only those who are ready to plunge into the secrets of the ancient cities of Uzbekistan and get acquainted with Bukhara and Samarkand in three eventful days.


TASHKENT-BUKHARA-SAMARKAND-TASHKENT

Tour duration: 3 days


Day 1 Tashkent - Bukhara

On the first day of the trip, we will go to Bukhara. Departure to Bukhara by a comfortable minibus Mercedes Sprinter with air conditioning at 14:00.


If you wish, we can make a stop in Jizzakh to taste the famous Jizzakh samsa (It's a huge samsa with lot of juicy meat ), striking in its size! After a satisfying stop, we will continue our journey.


Arrival to Bukhara

-Dinner at a local restaurant serving national cuisine.

-Accommodation in a comfortable hotel decorated in national style in the center of the historical town.


Day 2 Bukhara

-Breakfast at the hotel.

The beginning of the excursion around the fabulous Bukhara.

During the excursion we will have time to visit the Mausoleum of Ismail Samani (9-10 centuries), the dynasty of Bukhara Emirs. The monument of world importance is famous for its original architecture, in particular, for its unique openwork yellow brick decor.

For many years, the monument was buried under the layers of soil, and only at the beginning of the 20th century was it excavated and restored.


Visiting the old town:

The Poli-Kalon ensemble, including the famous Kalyan minaret (12th century)


-Mausoleum of Chashmai Ayub (14th century)

-the mosque (15th century),

-operating madrasah Miri - Arab (16th century),

- the madrasah of Emir Alim Khan (14th century),

-Taki (ancient trading houses), Kukeldash madrasah (16th century)

Lunch at a local restaurant, where we can taste delicious Uzbek cuisine.

Then visiting:

-Famous Lyabi Hauz (17th century),

- Madrasah Nadir Divanbegi (17th century),

-Magoki Attari (16th century),

-Ulugbek (15th century), Abdul Aziz Khan (17th century)

-Registan ensemble,

-Ark Palace (16th century) and Bolo-Hauz complex (18th century);

Day 3 Bukhara - Samarkand - Tashkent

07:00 Breakfast at the hotel.

08:00 Transfer to Samarkand.

On the third day of our trip, we will go to Samarkand.

On the way from Bukhara to Samarkand, we will visit a unique structure: the ancient well for storing water Sardoba, built around the 14th century.

Arrival and start of the excursion around Samarkand.


 - Guri Emir - the legendary mausoleum in which the Great Amir Temur (Tamerlan) and his relatives are buried.

Lunch at a local restaurant, here we will taste the famous Samarkand barbecue.


 - Registan Square. Many centuries ago, magnificent Samarkand was called "the heart of the silk road", and Registan Square was the heart of Samarkand itself. Today it is a famous landmark not only of the city, but of the whole of Uzbekistan. Spread on a hill with a beautiful ensemble of three madrasahs, it has existed for about 600 years.


   - The Bibikhanum Mosque is the largest mosque in Central Asia, which was built by Temur in honor of his beloved wife.


"Shahi - Zinda", a unique necropolis where the cousin of the Prophet Muhammad and members of the family of the Great Tamerlane are buried.

The Mausoleum of Saint Daniel is a unique place of pilgrimage - the mausoleum of the spiritual guardian of Samarkand and the prophet of three world religions - Khoja Daniyor (biblical prophet Daniel).


17:30 Transfer to Tashkent.

Arrival in Tashkent at approximately 22:00.
