JAVA SYSTEM DEVELOPER in WROCLAW

Project Description

We are offering a challenging and exciting position as Solution Engineer in a team providing solutions for web platform and for the globally leveraged Intranet platform within Corporate Service Technologies (CST). The tasks cover:

• Improving the attractiveness of these websites by incorporating the latest trends and technologies especially from tablets and smartphones

• Design, development, debugging and maintenance of software components using the JAVA based Adobe AEM technologies

• Understanding and converting user requirements into high quality functional solutions for Bank Intranet and/or Internet

• Diagnose and solve technical problems related to content management implementation

A team spread across 4 locations (Woclaw, Zurich, Lausanne, Pune) and working in a SCRUM model with a on team approach.

Responsibilities

Implement both frontend and backend parts of a web platform

Being an active member of an agile development team

Design solutions covering requirements raised by the business

Solve issues raised by the end users of the platform

Ensure platform stability during banks key events

Skills

MUST

1. Strong understanding of Advanced HTML, CSS and JavaScript plus associated libraries such as jQuery or ReactJS

2. Good understanding of Java and J2EE applications - proven experience in writing code

3. Experience in design methodologies (UML, Component Design Tools, etc.)

4. Mastery of all core web technologies including XML, HTML, CSS, Java Script

5. Knowledge on Open Source tools used in development process (like Teamcity, Maven or Gradle, Subversion, Git, STAF's)

NICE TO HAVE

6. Experience with core frameworks such as Apache Sling, Apache Jackrabbit (JCR) and Apache Felix (OSGI)

7. Experience with agile methodologies

8. Experience with one of the market leading CMS systems would be a plus

9. Experience in Adobe AEM would be a plus
