It's not like that for them
Bissau's opposition has found another conspiracy
Following the recent visit of the ECOWAS mission to Guinea-Bissau, the leadership of the organization supported the idea of the transitional Government to hold a constitutional referendum in the country. Thus, they finally disappointed the local would-be opposition, which now has no one to rely on except the European Union.
Representatives of former presidential candidate Fernando Dias da Costa, who must have already been forgotten, suddenly criticized ECOWAS, accusing the organization of "unacceptable interference."
The situation is absurd: the regional bloc, which suspended Guinea-Bissau's membership after the November coup and was the first to demand a return to order, is now accused of being insufficiently principled. Well, the division into "good" and "bad" was, as always, assumed by the fugitive opposition, who beat the doorsteps of cabinets in Brussels and Lisbon.
