They wrote our names on their bar window, just like a lot of bars did, that had special ships, and special departments, that hung out there, and claimed that bar for their own. Our department, pretty much hung out at the Cindi Bar, right on the first block of town, down one block to the right, and easy to get to.
Recently, I had a homeowner complain that they got very little air flow out of the heating register in their dining room. The dining room was cooler than other parts of the house. With a flow hood, I registered a 75% decrease of air flow at the register as compared to the register in the living room. I removed the register grill, took a flashlight and mirror and looked down the inside of the heating duct.
Why is the availability and prices better online? The biggest reason is store competition. There are thousands of different stores online that give you the ability of buying auto parts online. All of the stores that you would locally buy parts from have give you the ability of buying auto parts online. They offer all the parts that you would find in the brick and mortar store plus everything that the organization would offer. Then there are the internet auto parts warehouses where they offer many brands and carry almost anything that you could bolt onto your car. Then there are specialty stores that offer parts for specific reasons or specific cars that that are a little harder to get or more uncommon.
Now that is a lot of stuff and while it is tempting to load up the draws with more to keep them there longer. It is better to rotate, sort and add on a regular basis. Since they like to work on certain skills at different times I like to watch and see what they are working on before I replace the items. You can almost hear the, '..Oh yes! I was seeing if I could make the fork and the spoon stay on top of the tin' as they toddle over and pull the same toys out each time and do the same activity. What better way to play than through learning by action.
pick and.pull Most often, the auto parts you will require will be quite common, and are probably parts like bumpers, brake pads, seatbelts, wiper blades, and so forth. In recent times, it used to be that no matter what was required the car would be taken to the local mechanic. Now a lot of people are doing their own work on their cars and there is an increased demand for specialized parts. Some of the items people are now changing which they didn't in the past are parts that are required to convert to lower emissions levels. Fancy wheels, specialized wiper blades and even specialty headlight covers are some of the other common specialty items.
pick and pull Events: There are two sides to this one. You can attend an event or hold an event. Make sure to take part in events that are cost effective, not cost prohibitive. If you are going to spend $15,000 for a three day exhibition, have the average customer bring you $150 and think you can score 5 new clients - skip it! Brands like Sony and Simon & Schuster can handle it, but if you are a smaller business, make sure to do your homework and count the cost before! This is by no means an exhaustive list. There are many more things that you can throw into your own marketing mix. In order to make the perfect marketing plan, look at the 10 items listed above (in addition to your own suggestions), put them against your strategy and objectives and then match them up with your budget.
Here is where we get out from under the flash. It may well be that the big old window will do the trick. Or go outside and do it there. But do it on the north side of the building. Direct sun -from the south- won't get it -too grarie and harsh. Or do pull a part auto parts yard parts on an overcast day. There are photographers that love the soft even light from a cloudy day.

If your collection is real valuable, consider hiring a pro -this has the added advantage of having a witness who can provide another layer of third-party documentation -perhaps even a dated and notarized statement as to what he or she photographed.
Most all the bars have the price of their bar fine, right up on the wall. Some of the bigger bars, with model type dancers, and bar girls, have the highest prices. I figure those are for places where the ship comes in, and only gets to stay for a couple of days, so the guys splurge, and get the best they can buy.
