Item Upgrading Isn't As Difficult As You Think
World of Warcraft Upgrades and Item Upgrading
Upgrades increase the value of certain numeric stats on armor, weapons and rings. Upgrades also increase bonuses such as Crit chance and PvE Damage.
For example a weapon that has the upgrade template that is ending in % will take on 3% attack damage every time it upgrades (relative to its previous value).
Item upgrading costs crests and the item's current level. The cost increases as the item level rises.
Components

Upgrade components can be added to weapons, armor and trinkets to give them a stat boost or an extra effect. These can be obtained by making crafts, buying from vendors or trading with other players, or looting. Some upgrades have special cosmetic effects.
Upgrade components can only be applied to equipment with a slot. The item must be upgraded to blue before the component can be applied. Like other mods, upgrade components can only be used once and cannot be applied repeatedly or replaced with upgrades. Infusions and Enrichments are a type of upgrade component that is used to upgrade non-amulet legendary or ascending equipment, as in some items that aren't ascended. Infusions and enrichments can be obtained by salvaging equipment from the ascended state or completing a mission in the Prophecies, Factions, and Nightfall campaigns.
An upgrade may be prefixed or a suffix changing the name of the equipment to the upgrade (for instancefor example 'Canthan Armor Insignia' becomes Canthan Armor of Minor Vigor). Certain upgrades can increase the Mark Rarity or Level of an item, allowing players to create stronger versions using the smallest amount of upgrade crystals than they require to achieve the same level using normal methods.
A boost upgrade is a way to modify the attack or defense attributes of a weapon or armor. Once the player has completed the cutscene and defeated the Crazed Mechanist, these upgrades can be created at the Portative Forging Station. They can also be dropped by enemies when upgrading other gear or by purchasing them from the cash shop for 500 upgrade crystals each.
The player can get a maximum of five boost upgrades at a time. Each upgrade increases the chance that a higher-tier version of the item will appear in the next reset. This gives players an incentive to upgrade their gear, even in the event that they don't know how much it will be improved after a reset.
Whether a boost upgrade is successful or not, the process could be costly, and there is a high possibility that the item will be obsolete or even break when it fails. A failed upgrade will destroy Upgrade Crystals and Assist Powder, as well as the upgraded item. This is mitigated by the availability of cash shop items to double or even eliminate possibility of failure, and a few upgrades that give an additional benefit when they are inserted into an item.
Glyphs
Glyphs can be used to enhance the Paragon Board by placing them in sockets with special functions. Glyphs increase the power of nodes within a radius, including any pre-existing affixes. Glyphs can be upgraded in a variety of ways. We recommend upgrading them as quickly as possible to level 15.
It is commonplace to see in the endgame that placing Glyphs is the most effective way to upgrade your gear. They are the only upgrade component that can be upgraded directly to level 15 and offer an enormous boost to your power and radius on the Paragon Board, enabling you to climb higher nodes more quickly.
The majority of upgrades in the game can be replaced but Glyphs are the only upgrade component that can be removed and replaced without any restrictions. Only legendary equipment can be salvaged and re-placed by using the help of a Black Lion Salvage Kit.
Each Glyph has a certain range of values it can improve a stat by. The value is shown when you choose the Glyph in your inventory. You can choose to replace it with another Glyph of the same rank, or a higher rank, which will increase the overall value of the Glyph.
Glyphs can be found in the Black Lion Trading Post as part of an Gem Store bundle or purchase them with certain tools that are unlimited in use, and during Faction Crypt Raids. Each Faction Crypt can drop one of these Glyphs. There are also some rare glyphs you can find in any of the Faction Crypts.
Once you have the desired Glyphs then you have to attach them to your gear. Each Glyph unlocks a bonus that will boost the stats of a specific set of nodes in a radius surrounding the Glyph. This will either be +40 for one of your primary stats or +25 for two of your secondary stats based on the Glyph.
The use of a Glyph will boost all the nodes that are connected to it, so you should aim to place your Glyphs near key nodes on the Graph to maximize the impact. For instance, a Druid should aim to place their Glyphs close to their primary damage nodes but also think about placing them near crucial damage nodes too.
Leveling
item upgrade of upgrading items allows players to increase the performance of specific items by putting upgraded components inside them. This is referred to as "upping". Each upgradeable item has an amount that determines the final stats. Upgraded items can be leveled to a maximum of ilvl 385. Each level of an item requires different components, and the cost of upgrading increase with each level.
Some upgrades require a special ingredient to activate. This ingredient can be obtained by finishing Upgrade Recipes. These recipes can be bought from NPCs, or on the upgrade tab of a crafting table. Each Upgrade Recipe that is completed yields a certain number of Technology points. These points can be used to upgrade the item. Once enough are earned, the upgrade will be claimed and its additional bonuses will be added to the item.
When mouse click the next internet page upgrade an item the original item will be replaced with the new item. The same armor can be transformed into an weapon or shield when upgraded. The new item will also have its own set bonus. This could be a drawback in that it could cause the item to become more expensive if you don't need it.
Item upgrades can sometimes be rerolled, if the player has enough tokens to be able to do this. The item will be replaced by an entirely new item that has a level 1 basis and completely different bonuses. This is useful for some items, but it shouldn't be done regularly, as it can waste many resources.
Certain upgrades can be rerolled several times, increasing their value and allows the player to modify their gear. Dolphin's Gift is a good example, as it provides an increase in power if the player continuously enters or leaves the water. It can be upgraded multiple times, each time raising the maximum roll by an increment of 10. This item is highly important in PvP. A perfectly rolled version could be worth up to 50x the value of a unupgraded counterpart.
Requirements
Item upgrading allows players to upgrade the level of their equippable equipment - weapons, armor, and trinkets over ilvl 385 by providing the appropriate items and currencies to an NPC who upgrades items. Upgrades to armor set pieces increase its base defense and weapon upgrades items boost their base damage as well as the required strength and dexterity.
Each item can be upgraded up to five times except for hero gear, which can be upgraded eight times. Every time you upgrade an object it has a chance of failing. The probability of failure increases as you move beyond the maximum number. Failures can result in the item reverting to its original state which means that the player has to spend additional resources than if they had stopped upgrading after the maximum amount.
If an item is not able to upgrade, the amount of accumulated experience in its growth bar is reset to zero. The item also loses any bonuses it earned, such as chances to be crit, attack damage, or other effects (such as increased heal over time, or reloading speed). However, the player may continue to use the weapon or armor after the failure.
If an item is upgraded, the upgrades are applied in order from the lowest to the highest. This means that when a weapon is upgraded, if it gains a crit chance increase it will be applied prior to any damage from attacks increases. Slots is a brand-new attribute that was added to the definitions of items. The value is recalculated every time an upgrade occurs.
The amount of resources required to upgrade an item is determined on the rarity rating as well as the number of upgrade slots. The cost of upgrading non-premium items is equal to the base value of the upgrade--for instance, a typical equipment item could have five upgrades, each costing 25600 Technology Points 4x Quality Improvement Chance. Hero quality items are less expensive per upgrade.
Premium items might require different upgrades than normal equipment. For instance, they may need fewer sowels, but more minerals and orons. Players will still have to take every piece of gear they wish to upgrade to NPC [ArmorBoboko. Boboko located in Central Flarine. Each equipment upgrade requires different amounts of ingredients needed to upgrade, in addition to the expenses mentioned above.
