Path of Exile Item Upgrading
Upgrades to items allow players to improve their weapons and equipment with new affixes, boosting its base stats or providing additional benefits. To upgrade item s, players must have the item in their inventory and access the kiln.
Usually items that have weak bases (like rings) can be upgraded to a stronger base, whereas items with strong bases such as eth titans do not vary much in their stats after being upgraded.
Upgrade components
Upgrade components can be incorporated into trinkets, armor, weapons and gathering tools, providing an attribute bonus or extra impact when the equipment is used. Leveling
The upgrade system in Path of Exile has some significant differences from the previous versions. Gear is now classified into tracks and each item is able to be upgraded as many times before it is "leveled out." The costs for upgrading increase with each level, however the materials required for upgrades do not.
