From research, I see that it's the same but just spelled differently. This is what Wikipedia says: Khatun (Old Turkic: 𐰴𐰍𐰣, romanized: Katun, Ottoman Turkish: خاتون, romanized: Ha tun So apparently in old Turkic it's Khatun and in Ottoman Turkish it's Hatun. Provided its correct info.
