The updated draft of a Business code published for discussion
The updated draft divides companies into 4 categories: micro, small, medium, and large businesses. The classification and criteria for turnover size were previously announced by the President.
Public discussion will be completed on September 13, after which the draft will be reviewed at the Oliy Majlis of Uzbekistan.
Обновленный проект Предпринимательского кодекса вынесен на обсуждение
Обновленный проект разделяет компании на 4 категории: микро, малый, средний, и крупный бизнес. Классификация и критерии определяемые на основе оборота компаний были ранее анонсированы Президентом.
Общественное обсуждение завершится 13 сентября, далее проект будет рассмотрен Олий Мажлисом Узбекистана.
Council for Business Support was established under the Presidential Resolution
The Council will monitor the implementation of the objectives determined in the dialogue with entrepreneurs, as well as ensure that the cooperation between business and government bodies is in place.
The Resolution also approved a roadmap for objectives implementation, the results of which should be provided to the President by February 2023.
Постановлением Президента образован Совет по поддержке предпринимательства
Совет будет осуществлять контроль за исполнением задач определенных в ходе диалога с предпринимателями, а также обеспечивать взаимодействие бизнеса и госорганов.
Также утверждена дорожная карта реализации задач, результативность по которой должна быть предоставлена Президенту до февраля 2023.
Assessment of corruption risks in government bodies
The Anti-Corruption Agency approved a procedure for identifying and assessing corruption risks in state bodies. The procedure covers all government bodies and their divisions.
Special working group will assesses corruption risks annually. Based on the results of assessment, a corruption risks map will be published through “E-anticor.uz” platform.
Оценка коррупционных рисков в госучреждениях
Агентство по противодействию коррупции утвердило методику выявления и оценки коррупционных рисков. Методика охватывает все государственные органы и их подразделения.
Коррупционные риски будут оцениваться специальной рабочей группой ежегодно. На основе результатов оценки будет опубликована карта коррупционных рисков посредством платформы «E-anticor.uz».
The Cabinet of Ministers’ Resolution simplified customs procedures
According to the Resolution, customs warehouse licensing can be done online through the platform “License”.
Also, the size of international shipments with simplified declaration was increased from 10 to 30 BCU. Fee for issuing a transit declaration was reduced from 50 to 25% of BCU.
Постановлением Кабинета министров упрощены таможенные процедуры
В соответствии с Постановлением лицензирование таможенного склада можно пройти онлайн посредством системы «Лицензия».
Кроме того, размер международных отправлений с упрощенным декларированием увеличен с 10 до 30 БРВ. Плата за оформление транзитной декларации снижена с 50 до 25% от БРВ.
New Law on Advertisement came into force
Starting from September, 9 the new Law allows advertising of beer, as well as natural and sparkling wines produced in Uzbekistan. Free promotional activities, event sponsorship and advertising of tobacco products and other alcoholic beverages are still prohibited.
Новый Закон о рекламе вступил в силу
С 9 сентября новым законом допускается реклама пива, а также натуральных и игристых вин, произведенных в Узбекистане. Рекламная деятельность, спонсирование мероприятий и безвозмездное распространение табачных изделий и другой алкогольной продукции по-прежнему запрещены.
