towards8In 570 CE, an Arab man named Muhammad ibn Abdallah was born in Mecca. At the age of 40, this man had an encounter with a supernatural being. This supernatural being declared Muhammad a prophet of a new religion called Islam.
The relationship between Muhammad and the Jews was not good. He had wars with them because the Jews broke a treaty. A Jewish woman poisoned him. In the Quran, the Jews are sharply criticized as prophet-killers, mischief-makers, deceivers, and worst enemies. In the Hadiths, Muhammad prophesies the extermination of the Jews.
Although Muhammad's relationship with the Jews was bad, and although the Quran warned against the Jews, Muhammad's followers were quickly tricked by the Jews shortly after his death. A Jew from Yemen named Abdallah ibn Saba came as a Muslim and created a new movement within Islam called Shiism. He caused the killing of the third Caliph Uthman, thus triggering the first major conflict among Muslims. Most likely, this Jew was only pretending to be a Muslim to play "divide and conquer" and thus increase Jewish influence.
But it goes even further. After the Muslims conquered the entire Middle East like lightning, completely taking over the Persian Empire and crushing the Romans, Muslims worked hand in hand with the Jews to conquer more land, even reaching Spain. And the Jews shared their knowledge and skills with the Muslims, so that the Caliphate rose to become the world's number one power. The golden age of Islam had begun.
But the golden age of Islam came at a price. A price that the Muslims had to pay to the Jews. For with prosperity came spiritual decline. Spiritual decline that manifested itself in the form of irreligion and homosexuality. We see this everywhere Jews go. Wherever they go, prosperity grows, but so does godlessness.
