Athletic reported that Isco relies on a personal coach to maintain fitness and wait for the opportunity to return to play. This 30-year-old player is unemployed after leaving Sevilla on December 21, 2022. In January, European media reported that Isco could join Union Berlin in the Bundesliga. However, the deal collapsed at the last minute when the two sides had a dispute during the negotiation process. Isco went to Germany for a medical examination but did not sign the contract.
Isco was said to want to go to the MLS (USA) tournament in 2023. However, not many teams are interested in this deal.
