Isabela Merced Shines at Premiere of New Film 'The Last of Us: Part II'

Los Angeles, CA – June 10, 2024

Isabela Merced, the rising star known for her roles in Dora and the Lost City of Gold and Madame Web, stole the spotlight at last night’s star-studded premiere of The Last of Us: Part II. The 22-year-old actress, who plays the pivotal role of Dina in the highly anticipated video game adaptation, walked the red carpet in a stunning emerald-green gown, earning praise from fans and critics alike.

Directed by Neil Druckmann and Craig Mazin, The Last of Us: Part II continues the post-apocalyptic saga of Ellie (Bella Ramsey) and Joel (Pedro Pascal), with Merced’s character, Dina, playing a key part in the emotional and action-packed storyline.

'I’m so grateful to be part of this incredible project,' Merced told reporters. 'The fans of the game are so passionate, and I hope we’ve done justice to Dina’s story.'

Merced, who has also been making waves in the music industry with her latest EP, Renaissance, confirmed that she will be releasing new music later this year. 'Acting and music are both huge parts of my life, and I’m excited to keep exploring both,' she said.

With The Last of Us: Part II set to hit theaters next month and rumors swirling about her potential involvement in Superman: Legacy, 2024 is shaping up to be a breakout year for the multi-talented star.
