Is Karin related to naruto in any way like even if its 4th cousins removed or anything like that
Yus, not on Minato's side, but Kushina's. They both hail from the Uzumaki clan, which means they are related in some way.
Piggybacking on this post. It hasnt been established HOW they're specifically related, same for Nagato and Naruto.
Not sure if first, second, third cousins etc..

This reminds me, a long time ago right after Karin first appeared, someone made a theory that she is Naruto's sister and he was practically laughed off the forum. Now it is revealed she is Uzumaki and if he was still around, would likely have the last laugh. She is not his sister, but could be his first cousin.
We can safely assume there's a blood relation, but we cannot establish to what extent. For starters, we cannot cross-reference their abilities because they are different. They are both known to be Uzumaki for their high chakra reserves, which is something every Uzumaki possesses, and we haven't determined who Karin's parents are, or any other background information. But one thing we can assume is that she was also from Uzushiogakure, so that means she must have known Kushina in some way because Kushina was very famous as the second vessel of the Kyuubi and moreover, the wife of the Yondaime Hokage.
Yes and no,I think people in the naruto community thinks that you from the same class that you are related and yes you share the same clan but not blood. I read a lot of fanfics and what if and they try to justified why hyuga naruto can’t be with Hinata because the both hyuga which mean they are cousin and that so totally wrong if that was the case look at itachi and Izumi they both from the uchiha clan and they aren’t cousins so basically no Karin and naruto aren’t related by blood but tied by the uzamaki clan

I know that Naruto never learns that Karin is a member of the Uzumaki clan, but personally, it is interesting to speculate how Naruto's character - and the manga and anime in general - would have been influenced had he found out that he had living family. This is one of the many things that I wish would have been explored more. Feel free to add theories about Nagato (Pain) as well.

I dont think either of them is related, although Karin and Kushina might have been more related than we think. Chakra chains is common to both of them, so Kushina might have been an aunt to Karin.

I really doubt since Karin's parents died when she was very young...so at best they could be cousins.

Really wanted to see Naruto and Karin interact at least once as the last two known Uzumakis but nooo Kishimoto can't waste valuable time on characters who aren't Naruto, Sasuke or anyone else who has some six paths BS power up or some pity role.

It’s pretty strange/huge oversight that this isn’t explored. This is Naruto’s only living relative and the manga just brushes it off as if it was nothing.
No Karin and Nagato likely were born after their parents fled the village hidden in the swirls.Also they don’t seem to even flinch when the here Uzumakis so that likely not their last name.Himiwari is a hyuuga even though it’s not her last name.Karin and Nagato do know a lot more sealing Jutsu than Naruto maybe they are just naturally good or taught it.
Tsunade is a Uzumakis but she never says anything about it to Naruto.Her grandma was mito Uzumaki she’s just as much a Senju as she is a Uzumakis.She knew his name and wasn’t like oh my grandma was a Uzumaki.

Are you saying that Nagato and Karin aren't Uzumaki's? Obito literally says after Nagato died that he was an Uzumaki, and I can't remember who said it, but I remember someone saying that Karin was one too. She has the red hair, the massive chakra reserves and the chains. They are all signs of an Uzumaki. And Nagato has red hair and tons of chakra (which is why he could use the Rinnegan). He is defintely an Uzumaki.
Tsunade however, is only an Uzumaki through her grandmother. She's more Senju than Uzumaki, so it barely matters
In that Manga if you are not an Uchiha doesnt need to be explored.
I do wish the uchiha werent the only clan explored such indepth and we got more info and story on uzumakis too
There are, presumably, other Uzumaki scattered around the other nations.
So, Karin and Naruto may not be closely related at all.
She’s as related to Naruto as a random person at a family reunion.She likely didn’t know her clan name since the Uzumakis were scattered at least by the time Nagato ,and Kushina were born so she is likely fourth or 3rd generation.Naruto would be a namikaze in a alternative timeline it’s likely Nagato or Karin’s parents were second generation.
While they may not be brother/sister/cousin, they are part of the same clan.
It’s so tone deaf for Kishi to make Naruto’s whole issue being without a family to then introduce an actually living member and do nothing with it.
Naruto remaking Uzumaki clan could have been explored honestly, i mean he became Konoha kage, obviously other random uzumakis scattered around the world should have come to meet him? It would make sense..

It's been said in the show many of times that both are Uzumaki's but it's never been talked about how they are related in fact I don't think either of them even knows that they are related. Has anybody figured this out?
The are from the same clan but they are not related like family type they are just same spices thats all
The Uzumaki Clan is barely touched upon so there’s not much to go on. It’s impossible to say how close or far back a mutual ancestor is.

They’re related somewhere down the line but it’s not likely that they’re closely related. I think clans in Naruto function sort of like ethnic groups more than close knit families.
They aren't related. They're just from the same clan.
Look at clans as races it’s easier to understand how they can be related but not in close relation.
