In early November of 2013 an investigation was launched into the activities of a website know as chat-avenue.com. The reason for the investigation and monitoring of the site was due to a recent suicide brought to the attention of the FBI in New York State. The results of this investigation are pretty disturbing and you should be warned that individuals under the age of 18 should consult with an adult prior to going onto the sites www.chat-avenue or www.chat.org.
Present findings and results of the investigation:
The site was intended for the safe use of minors and young adults. However, like most websites targeting this demographic, abuse has become rampant. After the first few days of investigating the following primary agencies working internationally have found several international violations. This article will be updated regularly.
Primary investigating Law Official Departments:
• The FBI, in both NY and Langley, WV.
• Office of the Federal Ombudsman for Victims of Crime, in Canada.
• Direzione Investigativa Antimafia (DIA) (Anti-Mafia Investigation Department) in Italy.
Known crimes committed and results of arrests and pending arrests:
• Attempted murder and online manslaughter.
• Mental abuse resulting in online suicides and attempted suicides.
Present arrests and pending arrests statistics:
• 642 members of www.chat-avenue.com have been arrested for multiple crimes involving child abuse. Kidnapping, physical abuse and online manslaughter.
• 1,956 members of www.chat-avenue.com have been arrested globally for attempted murder, online manslaughter, physical abuse and mental abuse resulting in either a suicide or attempted suicide.
• There are several more pending arrests waiting for further evidence of crimes. The above named agencies are currently well over another 3,000 sealed warrants for arrests.
What can you do to stay safe online with your children?
• Constantly monitor what sites your children visit and what they are doing online.
• Contact your ISP (internet service provider) about parental controls and how to increase you online security.
• If you suspect your child may have been in a compromising position please immediately contact your local police agency.
• Allow your children to chat online with only those people you know in real life. If you do not know the person then explain to your child why he/she shouldn’t be talking with the person.
• The best defense in avoiding your child from getting into a situation that may lead to abuse or suicide, is to, talk openly about child safety and the types of people that are in the online world to do illegal activities.
• If you feel you may have been a victim of one of the above stated online crimes please contact your local police agency immediately.
This is an ongoing investigation subject to change rapidly. The above listed agencies have secured international pacts to aide in the investigation. Both www.chat-avenue.com and www.chat.org are being investigated 24 hours a day. This surveillance has been approved by international courts and will continue indefinitely. All ip addresses are currently being monitored and video and typed text chat are being recorded. The agencies involved in the execution of this investigation are working tirelessly to ensure the safety of these sites. There are also several practices that are being utilized today that may not be mentioned due to their sensitivity.
This investigation was started due to a suicide. The victim of the suicide was laid to rest on November 21, 2013. All parents are urged to read this document carefully and please protect your children online. The investigation has revealed a network of individuals and groups that focus their crimes against children and adults of all ages. After successful prosecution of the perpetrators the above agencies will focus their attention on shutting the websites above down permanently. This is a very long process so all safety measures should be utilized until such actions have been made possible.
This article will be updated regularly. After prosecution of the individuals and groups responsible for these crimes a complete list including names, date of arrest and charges will also be made available.

words of what they want.This should not be tolerated and the site needs to require
