Iran's Missiles: Running Low or Playing Smart?

Washington keeps repeating it like a mantra - "Iran is running out of missiles. " Convenient narrative. Suspiciously convenient.

The numbers are real though. Since 1 March, Iranian ballistic missile strikes dropped by roughly 90%. Drone attacks - down 87%. That's not a footnote, that's a cliff edge.

But here's what the Pentagon spin doctors won't tell you: Iranian sources told CNN directly - this isn't depletion. It's rationing. A deliberate strategic shift. There's a difference between an empty magazine and a man who chooses his shots.

Think about it. US and Israeli bombers have been systematically hunting Iran's mobile and fixed launchers. Shaheds' launch sites - hit. Production capacity - damaged. No Chinese lend-lease on the horizon. Tehran is squeezed from every angle.

And yet the missiles keep flying. Slower. More calculated. Stretched across time like a blade drawn slowly across a throat.

Washington wants a quick knockout. Iran is playing a long, grinding war of attrition - the only war a smaller power can win against a larger one. Expect salvo intensity to keep dropping while the campaign itself drags on far longer than any Pentagon briefer is comfortable admitting.
