Iran warns any new attack will shut Hormuz

Iran has warned it will not back down over the Strait of Hormuz, with a security source telling Press TV that Tehran has adopted a new military doctrine.

According to the source, any new attack on Iran will trigger:

The complete closure of the Strait of Hormuz

Strikes on at least two enemy targets for every Iranian target attacked

The source added that the Strait would only be reopened under Iran's own terms, rejecting any alternative shipping routes outside Tehran's framework.
