Iran targets US HIMARS systems in Kuwait
The Iranian Army says it struck HIMARS missile systems belonging to US forces at the Camp Arifjan base in Kuwait with ground-to-ground missiles.
HIMARS is used by the US for rapid strikes against ground targets. Iran says the attack was in response to US missile strikes on Iranian territory.
This is the 18th phase of Iran's "Thunder" operation — a sustained retaliatory campaign against US assets across the region.
