Updates to the sneakers experience on eBay

I have issues with my shipment which was shipped on 2021-11-10 via eBay International standard shipping and it supposed to be delivered to me on December 20 as final estimate date ,everything was fine Until the package Arrived to IPZ Frankfurt on 2021-11-30 Since then I haven’t see any tracking updates via eBay or dhl.de,I try many websites that provide tracking information and all gives me the same result,I try customer tracking number and local tracking number, I contact my local post office many time but without luck.
recently I found this website by accident
I give it a try and surprisingly he gave me an update to my shipment recorded on 2021-12-01,and this is was the last tracking updates to my package,the update status is strange to me and I don’t know what is mean.(Item returned from export Customs/Security.IPZ-FFM)
I contact the seller so many times but he says he can’t help me because it’s international shipment,even I told him try to open an investigation as DHL e-commerce said when I contact them via phone and they say only the seller can do it,but he didn’t,I have only 1 month starting from final estimated delivery date which is in my case start from December 20 to ask for refund As mentioned in the terms of money back on eBay
I did whatever I can,so now I don’t know what to do, Any kind of suggestions or help It will mean a lot to me guys
It sounds like the shipment is stuck in Customs somewhere. Could it be that the item is prohibited from being imported into your country? Have you contacted Customs?
it’s just a Game collectors edition so nothing prohibited,I import many Games collectors edition before
I contact my post office and they haven’t noticed anything,in fact no information received by local post office,still nothing shows in system when they try to track the shipment that mean still not arrive in my country
I read many complain and problems for shipment related to IPZ-FFM like Lost packages and Long delay for a month’s in social media like Reddit and the other platforms including eBay community,this why I’m worried about it and what should I do,it’s seller responsibility but he refuse to carry it,I pay over $240 for this item
You really have no reason to worry. You've indicated your aware of the 30-days past last estimated delivery date deadline to open an eBay case. If the last estimated delivery date was 12/20, your deadline would be 1/19. So if the package hasn't arrived by 1/15, go to item in your purchase history and select 'I didn't receive it' under More actions. That will open a case with eBay. If you receive the package after you've been refunded you can either repay the seller or refuse delivery.
I never had problems like this here since 2008 when I started dealing with eBay,so I have no idea
or I can go with paypal since I paid through?
Start with eBay. Once you open a case with Paypal you no longer have any recourse through eBay.
After you open the eBay case they give the seller three business days to respond. If you haven't been refunded by day four you need to go back to the case and ask eBay to step in. At that point they should force the refund. But hopefully your package will arrive soon and the problem will be solved!

I have same problem with my shipment. Its showing Customs returned.. All the symptoms are same as you were facing. my shipment was dispatched n 25-04-2022, after 27th it is showing the location at IPZ-FFM Frankfurt. Can you let me know how much time will it take to reach me in India. And what was your location

Has anyone had a package travel from IPZ-Ffm, Germany to South America recently?

I’m expecting a package to arrive here in Chile that was supposed to leave from IPZ-Ffm, Germany on August 23. It’s been 27 days since the last update I got on the 23rd, which said that the package needed an “additional inspection”. According to another redditor the package must have been sent via ocean freight, and that in their experience this could take between 20 and 30 days, but I’ve seen no signs from DHL since the update and their experience was from IPZ-Ffm to a different continent. I was wondering if anyone here has had a similar experience recently where the final destination was somewhere in South America at least?
I have a similar problem. My Shipment was supposed to leave IPZ-Ffm on the 3rd of August. It's stuck on "additional inspection " and there is still no updates about it. But my shipment is going to the middle east not South America.

UPDATE: To the two other people who were watching over this post, there’s still hope. My package just arrived in my country on August 3. It still hasn’t shown up at my doorstep but hopefully it will within the week or next week. Wishing the best for everyone! The waiting game is hard.
Second time ordering and having something shipped from the US to the Philippines via DHL. First time was a shirt, shipped 8th May, arrived 19th May (earlier than expected — I was told it can take up to a month for shipment). It never passed through IPZ Frankfurt during the entire process.
Needed a replacement piece for my film scanner and could only order from B&H Photo. Items were shipped July 7 and expected to arrive July 22 (give or take a few extra days, the Philippines tends to have some delays).
I’ve noticed my package (not express) was sent to IPZ Frankfurt not once, but twice (July 12, then processed in Speyer, DE on the 14th, then sent back to IPZ Frankfurt on the 15th). I’ve had no updates since then.
