Investor Relations Specialist
Digital nomads. Work from anywhereCompany: oobyte
Investor Relations Specialist Full-time · Remote
Oobyte is getting ready for its next stage of growth — and we're looking for an Investor Relations Manager to own how we find, win, and keep investors. You're equally comfortable building a pipeline of VCs and family offices, walking an investor through our numbers, and writing the monthly update people actually read.
ABOUT OOBYTE
Oobyte is a fast-growing consumer technology company operating globally. We run a multi-sided platform used by consumers, creators and brands, live on iOS, Android and web across multiple markets. Behind it is a lean, ambitious team that ships fast and thinks big — now preparing for the next stage of growth. You'll hear the full story, and see the numbers, in our first conversation.
THE ROLE
You'll work directly with the founders and own investor relations end to end — from first outreach to signed round to long-term relationship. This is a hands-on role, not a coordination role: you build the pipeline, run the data room, sharpen the materials, and become the person investors know between meetings.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
* Build and maintain a target list of angels, VCs and strategic investors that fit our stage and sector
* Run outreach: warm introductions, cold outreach, events — and get us in the room
* Prepare and iterate the deck, data room, model summaries and investor updates with the founders
* Manage the process from first call through term sheet, due diligence and closing, coordinating with our legal and finance advisors
* Own investor relations after the round: monthly updates, board materials, information requests
* Keep the CRM accurate — every investor, every stage, every next step
WHO THIS IS FOR
* You have personally worked on at least one closed startup fundraise (pre-seed, seed or Series A) not public-market IR, not sponsorship, not agency communications
* You understand term sheets, SAFEs and convertibles, valuation and dilution, and what happens in due diligence
* You've built an investor list from scratch and done the outreach yourself
* Fluent English, written and spoken
* Self-directed: you set the process and drive it without being managed day to day
* Available full-time with at least four hours of daily overlap with CET
NICE TO HAVE
* An existing network of early-stage and growth investors
* Experience with consumer apps, marketplaces or other multi-sided platform business models
* Additional languages
* Experience preparing a company for institutional due diligence
* Background in venture capital, angel networks or founder-side finance
* Familiarity with consumer apps or marketplaces
WHAT WE OFFER
* Full-time role, 100% remote — work from anywhere, with some overlap with the founding team's Central European hours
* A seat next to the founders and real ownership of a company-critical function
* Short lines, fast decisions, no corporate layers
* Competitive compensation
* The chance to shape the story of a global consumer platform as it scales
HOW TO APPLY
* Apply via LinkedIn with your CV or profile, plus 2–3 sentences on the raise, investor, or LP relationship you're most proud of. We review every application.
