FireFly

Hi Adriana! Please tell us about yourself, your hobbies and how did you get into Raresama?

Adriana | Momsama

Gladly! My name is Adriana and online I go by the name Momsama since I just became a Mom when I joined the Moonsama community! Everyone calls me Mom and I think that’s great haha. I love the outdoors, everything from hiking to riding my motorbike. I also love gaming which is how I learned about Moonsama. I thought it was awesome that all these people come together once a week to have fun and earn resources for their play to craft eco. A few months after joining the community I was invited onto the Core team.

FireFly

Oh cool! A girl on a motorcycle is always a bewitching sight!

Adriana | Momsama

You won't see me, too fast 😜

FireFly

Moonsama became very popular in the Dotsama ecosystem and beyond. Tell us more about Raresama and what exactly you do there.

Adriana | Momsama

Nowadays it seems there is more focus on NFTs having utility than there is on the art itself. Moonsama has built and is building a lot of cool tech and we love to come up with new ideas. Our vision for Raresama was: artists bring their creativity and focus on creating beautiful art, we focus on creating utility.

Raresama is not only for the artists, it’s also by the artists. We have been working with some amazing Dotsama artists, not only to put together the launch collection Raresama Originals but also to build Raresama. I love how they challenge us each day to make the best possible marketplace for artists.

All art on Raresama will be curated by the community through a governance token. The community going forward will decide which art goes on auction.

FireFly

Can you send a link to the contract address of your governance token, $POOP?

Adriana | Momsama

FireFly

Very interesting! Let's discuss governance in more detail. This is a very cool idea! I keep in touch with a lot of NFT artists. So here's a huge problem for an artist, it's hard to come up with and create a utility for their NFTs. Many do not have ideas, and those who have ideas do not have time to deal with potentially useful ones. You give a lot of support in this matter and the artist can just create cool art. It's damn cool!

I have a tricky question regarding curation. Could it be that the governance token will be concentrated in huge quantities only in hands of old Moonsama supporters and the new artists, even with cool art, will be ignored, since he is not well known in your community? How do you plan to make sure that your marketplace does not become a store for those close to you and your team?

mad4ox | A.Nursultan - [ cyber geisha ]

Adriana | Momsama

Good question! We have an Ambassador Program led by Yumi and RiRi. Together with the ambassadors, they will ensure fresh blood will be well taken care of. For example, the Raresama Originals contains 8 pieces by aspiring NFT artists; people who haven’t yet minted their first NFT or are just getting started.

We're really focused on building an inclusive marketplace. We're also working on some technical feats but I can't disclose anything about that at this point. The team has faith that the community will always go for a diverse qualitative offering of NFTs.

FireFly

Then you have a very correct approach. I am sure that such an attitude towards artists will greatly help those who do not know where to start.

Adriana | Momsama

Starting out with NFTs can be daunting. We're hoping that through the ambassadors and a user-friendly platform we can take some of the barriers for artists away so they can focus on doing what they do best: enrich our lives with beautiful art.

SFR Studio - The Council

FireFly

Will equipable and composable NFTs be implemented on the Raresama?

Adriana | Momsama

We want to open up our Moonsama 2.0 Protocol for users so yes, this will be supported. Creativity in this space comes in many forms and we're aiming to support where we can. The crazier the better. Expect Chaos :)

FireFly

Have you just started creating your protocol? If so, what are the approximate timeframes? When will we be able to see mass adoption of equipable and composable NFTs in your marketplace? Will you implement your UI to create equipable and composable NFTs? we are not coders, can we create them just by clicking the mouse?

Adriana | Momsama

We launched in June when our Moonsama OG collection got updated to our 2.0 standard. You can have a play with it here:

https://multiverse.moonsama.com/moonsama/customizer

As to when we will open this up for Raresama; in true Moonsama fashion we don't plan, we just build and deliver. We look forward to working with the artists and community on this, to see where they want to take the platform.

FireFly

Thanks! I got you. I and my readers will definitely get acquainted with the article.

How do you plan to moderate the collections? Will clip arts, AI, and neurons be allowed?

Adriana | Momsama

We'll have ways to filter out things, keep out the Davids (Flippers), monitor copyright infringements etc. Furthermore, we'll have the community moderate/curate the collections. Part of this is also a beautiful experiment so we'll have to see what happens. As always, we'll adapt to whatever comes. AI is an interesting topic and I know opinions are mixed. We will probably put it up to a governance vote, which is how all major decisions are made within Moonsama.

FireFly

Can you tell our readers briefly about your entire ecosystem -

 @MoonsamaNFT

 @ExosamaNFT

 @PondsamaNFT

How would you describe each of your projects? I know that your community loves memes very much, but many new people would like to understand in ordinary words.

Adriana | Momsama

Moonsama’s not even a year old and already we’ve built and delivered so much, sometimes it’s even hard for us to keep track. Ok let’s do this!

Moonsama is our 1.000 NFT OG collection. We're a tight-knit community that comes together to have fun and hang out. Once a week we do so in our Carnage event. Right now that's through our first Metaverse integration in Minecraft.

Exosama is our upcoming collection by the amazingly talented Justine Cruz, known for his work on Magic the Gathering. We have a full art studio working on this project and the quality is unreal. Exosama will also use Moonsama 2.0 protocol so you will be able to change clothing, hair etc.

Pondsama is a browser-based metaverse utilizing Metaponds (Metaverse fish ponds). NFT fish are crafted using resources gathered during Carnage. In Pondsama players can battle each other via a 5v5 turn-based format. The game is currently in alpha and can be played in Telegram. In the first few days alone over 10.000 battles were played, it's a lot of fun.

Finally, we're also looking to unveil a lot of the lore in the near future that ties everything together; Moonsama, Exosama, Pondsama. It’s a story we can’t wait to share.

FireFly

Super! So it will be much easier for new users to understand. Tell me,  what is the floor price for Moonsama now? I think many will be pleasantly surprised.

Adriana | Momsama

We don't do price talk but if people are curious, they can always check out the marketplace. Usually there aren't many for sale as many Sama holders have steady hands, even in this bear market. We look forward to extending our community and welcoming new people with the upcoming launch of EXO which will have a lower entry point.

FireFly

I must ask about your preferences in art? Tell us what kind of art you like and you can even list a couple of your favorite NFT artists!

Tanka - Spirits

Adriana | Momsama

I'm currently exploring my taste in art because of Raresama and I'm loving the journey so far. I've become very appreciative of all the time and work that goes into each piece. I'm finding that I am attracted to bright colors and busy compositions with lots to see.

Asking for a favorite artist is like asking a mom to pick her favorite kid, it's too hard. Speaking of which, I love all of our artists in our launch collection and I actually feel like a proud mom on the sideline of a first important football match, cheering them on.

FireFly

I can imagine how exciting this is for you. I know a couple of artists that will start with you and they are really wonderful. I'm sure you have nothing to worry about! How do you plan to attract high-profile artists with large communities from other ecosystems?

Adriana | Momsama

With Moonsama we’ve never spent a single dollar on marketing, we've always let our work and community speak for us. I think now that we’ve delivered Raresama and artists are being hyped, the eco will broaden by itself. The fun thing about having a community-curated platform is that if people want a certain artist on the platform they'll do whatever they can to get them on there. We’re ready to take over!

FireFly

You're probably right, although sometimes it's even fun to spend money on cool marketing. You probably know about magiceden.io NFT Marketplace! To be honest, they amazed me, everything was done very conveniently, I won’t even list all the cool features that they implemented, but this is definitely a breakthrough. I wish you to make your breakthrough!

You have your own cool ideas and, most importantly, you already have your own ecosystem.

Adriana | Momsama

Well said! It's a very exciting space and I feel we've just scratched the surface, we'll have a lot of fun building out Raresama.

FireFly

How do you feel about royalties in the secondary market? Do you think this makes artists advertise their collections all the time, not just before the mint?

KURKIN - IMITATION

Adriana | Momsama

I think having royalties is a good thing but shouldn't become a distraction. Artists would probably much rather focus on creating new art than having to advertise their (current and previous) work.

Also, secondary market sales will be less of a focus for Raresama since holders will be buying pieces to integrate into our (future) metaverses.

FireFly

In your case, when integrating all NFTs on the marketplace into your future metaverse, you do a lot of work for the artists, this is very good, as we said before. Perhaps there will be a lot of art and you won’t be able to take all of them directly to meta) but the community vote will probably come to the rescue.

Adriana | Momsama

We actually already have a working example of an integration. https://twitter.com/DonnieBigBags/status/1533393856578080769?s=20&t=K4JJ3j5eJb0I1fBtPeFzjg

The hard work goes into figuring out and building the integration, once that is done, everything should be straightforward. We have an insanely talented team, hungry to build.

FireFly

Many artists will read this. What would you advise them to do step by step if they want to join your marketplace?

Adriana | Momsama

They can visit Raresama.com and create their profile. Once Raresama Originals has been auctioned off, they will be able to mint their own NFTs which will have to be voted in by the community. They can also stake our governance token and put their profile up for verification (think blue mark on twitter). Again it’s up to the community to decide if they are worthy.

You can also connect with us and other artists on our Telegram https://t.me/raresama.

FireFly

It was very interesting conversation! I WISH you to realize all your ideas and dreams! You have an awesome community!

Adriana | Momsama

I agree! Thank you for your questions and support. I look forward to welcoming you and your readers to Raresama, let's keep creating!
