Just like many other cities in Malaysia, Kuala Lumpur continues to grow and change, which presents new and exciting opportunities for our students. The city is now home to over one and a half million people, which presents a multicultural population with a variety of ethnicities, nationalities, and dialects. With the recent opening of the Kuala Lumpur International Airport, the region is now accessible from almost every part of the world. Our teachers and staff work hard to ensure that every child feels comfortable and confident, whilst also challenging them appropriately.

Kuala Lumpur is rich in history, with the city itself dating back to the 1880s, with the construction of the Old British School (OBS). It was originally established as a ‘place of refuge' for Christians fleeing religious persecution in the Middle East. The building that is now called the OBS still maintains many of its original features, including the stone relief around the doors depicting the city's coat of arms, and the stained-glass windows that represent the different nations and areas of expertise within the school. Students of all ages can enjoy a stroll down memory lane, visiting areas of historical significance, like the OBS or Bukit Bintang, which is nearby.

We firmly believe that a school should not only provide a great education for the students but should also be a place that builds community. Our students enjoy a diverse teaching staff and flourishing social scene, with over 60% of our learners participating in after-school activities and/or clubs. This allows them to enjoy an education that is both academically and personally rewarding.
