VALENTINE'S Day has been and gone this year.
But there's another "celebration" for couples taking place today.
Steak and B***job day is a satirical holiday that started life as a meme online.
It was supposedly created in the US as a "male response to Valentine's Day" and it is celebrated a month later, on March 14.
The idea of the day gained so much momentum that now some have dubbed it the unofficial "Valentine's Day for men".
Punters can now even purchase Steak and B***job Day cards from some stores.
According to the "official" Steak and B***job Day website , the day is there to highlight how "men work hard to satisfy their lovers on Valentine’s Day, and, given their ebullient dedication, Steak and BJ Day is an opportunity to repay the favour".
It says "men feel a tad left out, they're just too proud or too embarrassed to admit it".
The date for the day is the same every year - March 14.
The website adds: "February 14th has become so capitalist - March 14th is good ol’ fashioned TLC."
This "official" site even offers tips for cooking the perfect steak as well as "techniques" for b***jobs.
The website even raises funds for charity (to help fight breast cancer) via the hype around the day.

We all know Valentine’s Day as the ultimate Hallmark holiday, where doting men everywhere get the women in their life chocolates, roses, and a plethora of other cliché gifts. In other words, Valentine’s Day is a holiday created for women, and men are just pressured into participating.
But did you know that there’s also a counter holiday to Valentine’s Day, solely for men, that comes exactly one month later, on March 14? Kind of like an anti-Valentine’s Day? Oh, yes.
This day is one that is full of manly whimsy, where dudes everywhere are repaid for all of the thought and careful planning they put into making Valentine’s Day as romantic as they can manage. This day, my friends, is called Steak and Blowjob Day.
As the name suggests, Steak and Blowjob Day is “simple, effective and self-explanatory. No cards, no flowers, no special nights on the town; the name explains it all: just a steak and a BJ. That’s it.”
To some, this might sound like a wonderful idea. You know, a girlfriend or a mistress or something cooks her man a nice steak, and then goes down on him. To others, including me, it’s kind of revolting, and the more I think about a big jumble of steaks and dicks, the more I hate it.
That said, it takes a lot of creativity to come up with a fake holiday as bizarre as Steak and Blowjob Day, so I applaud the person who woke up one morning and thought: “I wish there was a day dedicated to eating filet mignon and getting sucked off. I’m going to make it happen.”
To make this raunchy “holiday” feel a little more charitable, a portion of proceeds from the Steak and Blowjob Day website will be donated to the Breast Cancer Research Foundation, so you can buy some merch and not feel too bad about spending your money on useless items, like this Steak And Blowjob Day apron.

Steak and BJ Day is a non-official conditional holiday that is celebrated on March 14th and was established as the male version of Valentine’s Day – which is why it’s celebrated exactly one month after this holiday. If you need to know how this holiday is celebrated, then all you have to do is read it in its title. That’s because the two main components of this holiday is for women to provide steaks and blow jobs to their men. Pretty simple, huh?

If that is the case, then this holiday really spread far and wide thanks to word of mouth. First, it spread across the North American Continent and then it spread all over Europe. Now it is celebrated by people all over the world.
Steak and BJ Day is a holiday that is based on the assumption that the traditional Valentine’s Day celebration is a day for women. Advocates of this holiday will say that men have no use for candy, romantic dinners or flowers. That the only thing men really want is some fellatio fulfillment and a nice big hunk of meat. Something I think most guys would agree with – unless of course they are vegetarians or vegans.
However, since Steak and BJ Day is a conditional holiday, guy’s aren’t automatically get steaks and oral sex on this day. No, it all depends on how well they have taken care of their wives or girlfriends on Valentine’s Day. If guys failed to fulfill their duties on that day – or their women were dissatisfied with their execution of the obligations on that day – then women are not obliged to give guys what they want on this holiday. Therefore, some people see this holiday as a form of motivation to get guys to do the things they are supposed to do on February 14th. If guy’s cant cut the proverbial mustard on their ladies’ holiday, then they get absolutely zip on their holiday. This kind of makes Steak and BJ Day a Quid pro quo arrangement.
