Internal Communications Lead – Global Strategic Marketing
Location: Fully Remote
Duration: Contract, with possible extension to 12 months
Role Summary:
The Internal Communications Lead will serve as a strategic communications partner to Global Strategic Marketing (GSM) leadership. The role will translate leadership priorities, transformation initiatives, business updates, and key wins into clear, consistent communications for employees.
Key Responsibilities:
* Partner with GSM leadership to identify communication needs and recommend messaging, audience, channels, and timing.
* Develop and manage integrated communications plans and calendars.
* Support transformation and change initiatives with communications, FAQs, stakeholder updates, and messaging.
* Create executive communications, presentations, talking points, leadership updates, and briefing materials.
* Develop employee communications including emails, Teams messages, newsletters, presentations, FAQs, and success stories.
* Support town halls, employee engagement activities, speaker preparation, and follow-up communications.
* Manage communication channels including Staffbase, Microsoft Teams, SharePoint, and email.
* Establish communication processes, templates, content repositories, and editorial cadences.
* Track communication engagement and employee feedback and use insights to improve effectiveness.
Must-Haves:
* 7+ years of internal, corporate, employee, or transformation communications experience.
* Strong executive communications, writing, editing, storytelling, and presentation skills.
* Experience supporting organizational change/transformation or major business initiatives.
* Experience creating communications plans, leadership messaging, town halls, and employee engagement content.
* Strong stakeholder and project management skills.
* Ability to work independently with broad or incomplete direction.
* Strong judgment in determining what to communicate, to whom, when, and through which channel.
* Experience with employee communication platforms such as Teams, SharePoint, Staffbase, and email.
* Data-driven approach to measuring communication effectiveness.
* Comfortable working with leadership and handling confidential/evolving information.
Ideal Candidate:
A proactive Internal/Corporate Communications professional who can both advise senior leaders and independently produce polished communications deliverables, while managing multiple initiatives in a fast-paced environment.
