Installation steps for AEX/ArrowOS
matt_zer01BEFORE EVERYTHING: If you're experiencing strange issues with your device BEFORE jumping over AEX / ArrowOS please make sure you run MiFlash with the latest stable EEA FW first. Trust me, it's worth it :D
1) Installation with GApps:
MAKE AN EXTERNAL BACKUP FIRST! Either Migrate or OandBackupX
IF YOU WANT TO MAKE THE SWITCH TO F2FS, follow from the 3rd point onward. Else, the first 2 points are just fine:
1st) Format data - type yes
2nd) Wipe system, vendor, cache, dalvik cache and reboot again into recovery.
3rd) From here, if you're on SHRP, go over Wipe, then advanced (or Advanced Wipe if you're on the v2.2), then select /data, press the red icon with the gear and tick F2FS, confirm and let it format /data. Afterwards, do the same for /cache. Reboot into recovery again
1) MANDATORY: Firstly install the FW package (IF YOU CAME FROM THE LATEST EEA 12.0.3.0,you can skip this step), then the BB one.
2) AEX or ArrowOS (Vanilla in case you want a Google-Free experience, else Gapps version)
3) Confirm flashing.
4) Reboot your device into recovery again.
5) Install latest Magisk, then reboot your device normally.
2) Installation with MicroG:

6) Install via Magisk Manager your chosen MicroG package, then reboot your device.
7) After it reboots, go into Settings > Open Apps > grant ALL the permission it needs to Google Contacts Sync and Google Calendar Sync, that's important for your Google contacts and calendars to sync correctly.
8) Before opening up MicroG, download the gmscore directly from MicroG's Github and install it in your device. After that, Open up MicroG, and open the Self-Check section and tick all the options.
9) Enable Device Registration, then enable Google Cloud Messaging, and don't forget to tick all the UnifiedNLP providers (and give them permissions)
10) After that, login with your account, and clear PlayStore's data before using it. Enjoy!
Dirty Flash update (Not always Recommended)
Remember that Dirty flash can cause issues in the long run. Consider using it only if you really haven't got time for a proper clean flash.
1) Wipe System, vendor, cache and dalvik cache
2) Install the update of AEX / ArrowOS you were using (gapps or vanilla flavour)
3) Reboot into recovery again.
4) Install latest Magisk , then reboot your device normally.
