Installation Guide For Mi A1: Pixel Experience

HOW TO INSTALL ALL PIXEL EXPERIENCE VARIANTS WITH ANDROID 10 (also works for Android 9.0)

YOU MUST MAKE A BACKUP OF EVERYTHING THAT I CONSIDER IMPORTANT (PHOTOS, MESSAGES AND OTHERS) SINCE THIS PROCESS IS A CLEAN INSTALLATION AND THERE IS NO OTHER WAY TO DO IT.

I ALSO SUGGEST THAT WITHIN THE TWRP YOU MAKE BACKUP OF IMPORTANT FILES LIKE "EFS, MODEM, BOOT & PERSIST AND SAVE THEM WITHIN A USB OR ON YOUR PC.

#WIPES

1. Boot to TWRP (CosmicDan's or OFFICIAL TWRP)
2. Go to Backup > Select MODEM, EFS, BOOT & PERSIST (I suggest you keep it inside a usb or on your pc to backup them safely)
3. We must observe in which SLOT we are (A or B)
4. On the Home. Select WIPE > Advanced Wipe > Select Dalvik/ART Cache, System and Data (Internal Storage optional). #If you have an error regarding the VENDOR, ignore it.
5. Go to Wipe > Format Data > we write "YES". #WARNING! This step erases everything you have in your internal storage, make sure you have made a backup before.
6. Go to Reboot > select the SLOT that we do not have active (If we are in slot A. Restart B)
7. We do steps 3 and 4 again
8. Once all the previous steps have been carried out, we restart in RECOVERY.

• OPTIONAL: for users who want to use F2FS (If you are not interested, continue to the #INSTALLATION step). Go to WIPE > Advanced Wipe > Select Data Change File System > F2FS > Swipe to Change > Reboot RECOVERY.

#INSTALLATION

1. Go to Install > Select ROM > Swipe to Install (if we use the CosmicDan's TWRP we leave everything as it is in the Aroma Installer screen, you know. SLOT and TWRP SURVIVAL).
2. In case of not using Cosmic Dan's TWRP. you must install TWRP after ROM has been installed.
3. Reboot Recovery.
4. from here you should not change the SLOTs, just dedicate yourself to installing the files that you require.
5. Flash CUSTOM KERNEL (Optional)
6. Flash MAGISK (Optional)
7. Reboot System.
8. DONE!!. :)
