Major, major good news: The fifth and final season of Issa Rae’s award-winning comedy-drama series Insecure is finally here. The first episode will drop at 10 p.m. ET tonight on HBO Max , and y’all, to say I am ready would be an understatement.
Ever since the day Insecure first aired in 2016, the show has excellently portrayed the modern-day lives of Black women. The series has tackled everything from strained friendships to gender and racial inequality to the shamelessly real reality of millennial dating .
But one thing Insecure does so, so well, in addition to tackling all the nuances above, is the sex. Literally no one can deny how sexy the hit show is, and honestly, it may just be the horniest thing to grace our TVs in a long time. Of course, they may have cast the hottest actors possible for the show, and that doesn’t quite suck either. But the makeup sex, the public sex, and the kinky sex are everything viewers need and more.
So in celebration of the last season of Insecure (BRB as I go scream into an empty void of darkness), we decided to give you a lil refresher on the sexiest sex scenes from the show. Use this ranking to reminisce, find inspiration for your sex bucket list , or, hey, maybe even masturbate . No judgment here.
Issa directing Calvin (“TSA bae”) while switching between multiple positions was more of a comedic punch line than anything else, but let’s be real, communicating and advocating for your own pleasure during sex is hot.

Despite her attempts to fix her relationship with Lawrence, Issa eventually acts on her hidden lust for Daniel. Although I feel bad for Lawrence in this scenario, it’s hard to focus on anything other than Daniel’s muscular build. Am I right or am I right?
Fast-forward to around 25 minutes in.
Have you ever gone to your ex’s house for “closure” only to end up with your clothes off? This happened when Lawrence visited Issa to get some of his belongings from her apartment. Let’s just say he couldn’t help but to pull down Issa’s panties and earnestly get it in while on the couch.
Fast-forward to around 30 minutes in.
If there’s one thing Dro and Molly know how to do, it’s utilizing whatever location they’re having sex in—including the kitchen. Part of what makes this scene so steamy is that Molly is enjoying Dro’s tongue so much that she accidentally knocks the Hennessy bottle over the counter. It happens.
Fast-forward to around 27 minutes in.
After Issa and Lawrence have a heart-to-heart and share their perspective on what initially went wrong in their relationship, they share a moment of passion that had us screaming “YASSS!” at our TV screens.

Everyone knew it was only a matter of time before Molly and Dro slept together, and that’s what made this scene unforgettable. The tension rising between these two was quite literally irresistible to watch.

Come on. Did you really think we were gonna leave out the infamous threesome between Lawrence and the women he had just met at the supermarket?
Fast-forward to around 22 minutes and 50 seconds in.
Are there even any words to describe how glorious Daniel’s strokes look? It definitely sounded like his fuck buddy enjoyed it.
Fast-forward to around 2 minutes and 10 seconds in.
As if we thought these two couldn’t get enough of each other, they share some passionate morning sex. And yes, we get a close view of Lawrence’s side strokes while Tasha screams, “Yes, zaddy!”

Beyoncé isn’t the only one who can put on a stellar performance at Coachella. Issa and Nathan took the festival to new heights as they sneaked away for a fun ride (literally) on the Ferris wheel.

As if watching Andrew thrust Molly from behind couldn’t be any hotter, we also see Molly biting the sheets in complete ecstasy. Also, Andrew spanking Molly at the end is…wow.

What could be better than getting freaky on a hotel balcony while overlooking the gorgeous views of Mexico?
