Information about passes

Dear friends,

We understand that the release of the most recent update has caused confusion and frustration for many of you. We hear your concerns and would first of all like to apologize for the lack of transparency surrounding the new game pass. We were excited for the rollout of this feature but recognize that mistakes were made. 

Below, you will find answers to frequently asked questions:

1. Do you need to have a game pass to achieve the black mirror?

No, the black mirror achievement can still be reached by all players. Exclusive content will contribute toward the achievement and will be available to all players via the Buy All option and Shopping Day events.

2. After purchasing the Gold Pass, will additional slots, Friends+, and live avatars remain available after the monthly game pass period ends?

If your Gold Pass expires, the additional save slots feature will still remain active for an additional 1 month of grace period. The slots icon will show an exclamation mark notifying the player about the date until the player can still use slots 4-10. After the grace period ends, additional slots 4-10 will become locked and slot 1 will be automatically selected. Any progress on slots 4-10 will still remain available if the player decides to renew the game pass at a later date.

Access to the Friends+ feature is available only for the duration of the game pass. If more than 50 friends were added during this period, they will remain in your profile.

After the game pass expires, access to the Live Avatar library will no longer be available; however, the selected Live Avatar will remain in your profile. If you change this avatar to another one, it will not be possible to restore the previously selected Live Avatar.

3. Will diamond choices purchased with game pass resources be free after game pass expiration? 

Yes. After your game pass expires, all previously purchased diamond choices will still be free.

4. Will purchased wardrobe items exclusive to game pass holders only remain available after the game pass expires?

Yes. After your game pass expires, all previously purchased wardrobe items will remain available in your wardrobe.

If you replay a story after the game pass has ended, choices that were available through the game pass can be selected again only if you have an active game pass. Otherwise, they may be purchased under the standard conditions.

5. Does the game pass apply to all stories, including completed ones, or only to new and upcoming stories?

Free choices, the option to undo a selected choice, and discounts on diamond choices apply to all stories.

Game pass-exclusive outfits will be available starting with the new story introduced in this update — “The Sins that Cry for Vengeance”.

6. How long does the game pass last?

For auto-renewing game passes, the game pass remains active for one calendar month from the date of purchase. For example, if you subscribe on February 11, your game pass will remain active until March 11 and will then renew automatically.

Because February has 28 days this year, you may see that the game pass is set to expire in 28 days. In March, which has 31 days, the game pass period will adjust accordingly. If you renew your game pass each month, it will remain active continuously throughout the year (365 days).

7. What does “Up to 20% discount” mean? What determines the discount percentage on premium choices?

The discount on premium choices is activated after all free game pass choices have been used. The initial discount on premium diamond choices is 10%. With each subsequent premium choice, the discount increases by 1% until it reaches 20%. (The discount is calculated cumulatively per day, not within a single story.) If a choice is undone, the discount percentage will not decrease.

8. How does the game pass work during the “Diamond Rush” and “Shopping Day” events?

During the “Diamond Rush” event, all diamond choices can be undone an unlimited number of times. This also applies to the free playthrough of the story “Heaven’s Secret.” Free choices available through the game pass will not be consumed during this event.

During the “Shopping Day” event, the unlimited undo option applies only to customization choices. When purchasing customization options, free game pass choices will also not be consumed.

9. Will you still be hosting “Diamond Rush” events?

Yes, events such as “Diamond Rush”, “Tea Party” and “Shopping Day” will continue to happen between updates and be available to all players.

10. How does the game pass interact with previously purchased choices?

If you replay any story in the app and select a choice that was previously purchased, the number of available undos and free game pass choices will not decrease.

11. What are “Regret Free” choices?

You may undo a premium choice if you realize that you are not satisfied with the content you received. If diamonds or free game pass choices were used for that choice, the spent resources will be refunded to you.

12. Is a refund or compensation available for game pass holders who purchased additional slots or the “Friends+” feature before the game pass system was introduced?

Yes. We are happy to refund the amount spent on additional save slots and the Friends+ feature by compensating you with any in-game resource of your choice for the equivalent value:

Cups

• 15 cups for additional slots
• 15 cups for Friends+

or

Diamonds

• 130 diamonds for additional slots
• 130 diamonds for Friends+

or

Fortune Wheel Spins

• 25 spins for additional slots
• 25 spins for Friends+

13. Where can I find the game pass?

To access the new game pass options, tap the crown and heart icon located in the lower-left corner of the game menu. 

Within an episode, information about your game pass status and the resources included in it can be viewed by tapping the upper area of the screen. 

Please also note that game pass features are available only in the latest version of the app. If these features are not visible, please update the application via the App Store, Google Play, or Steam.

14. The new game pass feature is not visible in my game menu.

The game pass feature is available only in the latest versions of the game — 1.0.50500 and up. If the game pass options are not visible, please ensure that you have installed the most recent version of the game via the relevant app store.

15. What does the pass offer if I already have Friends+ and additional slots? What is the benefit?

• You will receive 5 free choices every day. Enjoy the story without spending your diamonds — up to 150 choices per month at no additional cost. 
• You will also have 4 undos for paid choices. If you change your mind, simply go back and save your currency.
• Once the free choice limit has been reached, you will receive a discount of up to 20% on all subsequent paid choices.
• Rewards for watching ads are doubled, allowing you to accumulate resources twice as fast.
• You can use any live avatars without restrictions or additional requirements.
