We are seeking an Information Security Officer to join our expanding security team. This role is open to professionals with varying levels of experience who are passionate about enhancing our security posture. Job responsibilities

• System and endpoint hardening using benchmarks such as STIGs or CIS.
• Experience with EDR/XDR platforms and endpoint protection strategies.
• Directory Services security and identity protection.
• Network security including segmentation, NGFWs, and traffic analysis.
• Threat intelligence platforms or techniques for tracking TTPs.
• Risk management practices such as risk assessments, risk registers, and third-party risk evaluations.
• Policy development, control mapping, and compliance tracking.
• Familiarity with GRC tools or audit preparation processes.

Required qualifications

• Governance, Risk & Compliance (GRC):
• Familiarity with security frameworks such as PCI DSS, ISO 27001 or NIST CSF. Certifications (e.g., lead implementer or auditor) are a strong plus.
• Incident Response & Detection Engineering:
• Experience with SIEM systems, detection rules (e.g., YARA, Sigma), data normalization, correlation rules, writing response playbooks, and basic forensic investigation. Familiarity with SOAR platforms to automate and orchestrate security operations.
• Application & Infrastructure Security:
• Understanding of web and API security best practices, frameworks like the OWASP Top Ten, use of WAFs or IPS metrics. Familiarity with secure coding practices, threat modeling, SAST/DAST tools, and working with developers to remediate security issues. Experience using tools such as Burp Suite and integrating security into CI/CD pipelines is a plus.
