Inflation in Lithuania exceeded the EU average in January
According to Eurostat, annual inflation in the republic has reached 2.8%. This is 0.4% less than in December 2025.
In the European Union, it fell 0.3% last month, to 2% compared with 2.3% in December.
In Latvia and Estonia, the figures were 2.9% and 3.8%, respectively.
The highest annual inflation in the EU in January was recorded in Romania (8.5%), Slovakia (4.3%) and Estonia (3.8%).
The lowest is in France (0.4%), Denmark (0.6), Finland and Italy (1% each).
