We used to have a large unit on a wall that also provided us with wind speed, but after a remodel I was looking for something more manageable. The wind speed had limited use for us so the outside part also came down. Instead, we now have the little sensor that sits outside under a part of the deck that gets no rain but gets morning sun. The inside part is in the kitchen, visible from the table with large enough fonts to see from a few feet away, but it's not much larger than my cell phone in a stand beside it. The temperature is different by a couple of degrees from the one reported on my cell phone, but those are recording temps from elsewhere, so who knows which is correct. It's plenty good for my needs. And I like that there are 3 channels so you can have 3 sensors. For now I just need a single one. I did encounter a problem with the first sensor reporting LL.L for the temperature. The vendor provided exceptional tech support and replaced both parts within just 3 or 4 days. It turns out the problem was the sensor that sits outside, so simply moving its batteries to the new sensor fixed the problem immediately.

I compare the outside temp to my Apple current location temp and it almost always the same. Occasionally when temp is riding or falling there might be a1 degree difference at most. Thatโ€™s good enough for me. And I compare the inside temp to the thermostat and itโ€™s also accurate within a degree and they are at different ends of the house. It does go up when I cook because itโ€™s in the kitchen and we donโ€™t have central AC but thatโ€™s usually when I want to check it so Iโ€™m very happy with it. Also, quick look at the instructions and I had it set up in a couple minutes. Did say it included batteries though snd there were no batteries so taking off a star for that.

After receiving the Remote Thermometer, it was noted that the characters in the Outdoor Index field did not render correctly and could not be easily read. I contacted the manufacture and after proving the display error they immediately sent a replacement unit. After using the unit for a couple of weeks I have been impressed with the reproducability by placing the sensor next to the display and the two temperatures are within a few tenths of a degree. To test the units ability to read through walls I placed the sensor in a travel trailer located in a metal barn on the far side of the house with 3 interior house walls between the display and it worked fine.

What a great product ! Following the well-written (!) directions, it hooked right up. It automatically detected my remote-reading pool thermometer system and switched to Channel 3. I pressed the CH button twice and there was my weather station. Yesterday it correctly predicted rain. Marvelous! The two thermometers and humidity readings almost always agree with each other. I'm thinking of getting another sender unit to check the temperature in another location. I am beyond pleased.โ€”S

What A Great Product !

By Sherman K. on August 24, 2022

This is a great weather station. Out of the box it gave easy to understand directions. Just put in the batteries, follow a few directions and its ready to use. I would reccomend to anyone wanting an informative weather station. We refer to it, multiple times a day. "noting but smiles". Thank You

I disliked that the product was made in China. When is Amazon going to bring our economy back to the USA?

I love this product! The outdoor and indoor thermometers work great. I really love how easy it is to use and install. Looks stylish.

This replaces a very similar ThermoPro unit that died because the rain got to the outdoor sensor. The new sensor appears to be the same, so I suspect it will not be more resistant to heavy rain/wind/splash than the last one. Accuracy is of course hard to assess. It is usually within a degree or two of the Weather Channel temp for my area, but I have a shaded garden with trees, and the official temp from the airport is taken in a wide open desert area, and 5 miles away.
