The wife and I were passing through Louisiana and decided to book two nights at Indian Hills. We've been to all different types of nudist resorts including lifestyle friendly (which this place is) so we have at least a few expectations that any resort should meet. 1. Activities to get visitors involved. This place has none. Just a pool nothing else. 2. Friendly folks happy to meet you. Only about four members said hello so we didn't feel welcome. 3. Limited single males. Good Lord the males here outnumbered the females 5 to 1. A lot of men tends to make women uncomfortable. Most of them just sat in the rocking chairs under the pavilion and ogled at the women. 4. Back to friendly people. There was a dance Saturday night. Wife was told that the ladies tend to dress sexy which was fine. The wife wore some lingerie. Most of the men were either fully dressed or had a long enough shirt on to cover everything. I wore shorts and was stopped several times and told that I was required to be naked. I pointed out that EVERYONE there was dressed so why should I undress. I was reminded that I signed an agreement when we entered and that's why. Needless to say we left the party early. Sunday morning we tried to catch some sun by the pool but there was only about two dozen men there, no women at all. We left and won't be back. …

We had just arrived in Slidell and were looking for a hotel, when up popped the Indian Hills Nudist Park on TripAdvisor. We pulled up and found the location to be very private. Much as I tried I was unable to convince someone else to go in, and she threatened to sleep in the truck. Maybe next time.

Could and should have been a nice experience. Arrived Tuesday morning 9/17/18 and was given a short tour. The place looked clean and neat overall, however the pool looked disgusting. A gentleman cleaning the pool assured us not to worry, "it would be fine by the afternoon" Afternoon came and went and the pool still looked gross. We were told tomorrow would be different. Well Wed came and the pool was worse. Now to be fair the rest of the grounds were ok, not awesome however ok. Unfortunately we were there to experience the pool and pool area, so with no working pool we were left to take cool showers to cool off. We have been to many resorts, loved most and liked some unfortunately this is one of the very few we can not recommend

The pool area is very clean. Management and fellow nudist were exceptionally kind, AND Sharing. Easy to meet new friends. Check the events calendar, for cook outs, Olympics and Holiday treats Meet new Friends, and attend their private parties! Can be life changing!!!!

I have visited several times and have had a great time every time! The people are friendly and nice. So much so I am going to become a member. It is the perfect enviroment to let your hair down & relax. They do have rules, which are told to everyone, posted in various places and expected to be followed. This is very, very important to me since I can visit there anytime and feel safe. The management has always been very accommodating. (They are the people who have owned it since day one of its inception; they managed it up until a few years ago and have recently returned.) If you haven’t visited I highly recommend it!!!

Now under new management, Indian Hills Nudist Park has placed a man amongst the guests and members who judges and discriminates and reports his judgments and discriminatory observations to the new managers. We have been long time goers to the facility and found under its previous management the park to be friendly, fun, and relaxing, unencumbered by judgments and discriminatory behaviors. Based on our most recent experience under its new management, we can no longer bring ourselves to patronize Indian Hills Nudist Park. We were falsely accused - lies were told about us. We were told to leave the spa - without any chance to question why. We were told that we "are to come to the office" - as if we were school children. We were told to "Pack up your sh-t and get out." We had no recourse. We had no opportunity to reason with management. We had no idea what we had done. I seems that the man who "reported" to management had decided that he did not like us and he and the management were bent on removing us. We were stalked until we left the facility. It was a horrible experience that we will not soon forget. …

Loved it. We went for the day and basically sat at the pool. It was very hot out and instead of sweating and walking around New Orleans we sat naked at the pool. It was a great day. Met some nice people

We heard a lot about Indian Hills we went there to spend the day, this place is very nice, rustic nothing fancy, the owners been working a lot to keep it up, is a great place to have fun meet people and they have a lot of events we like to tan our bodies and be natural we are coming back

We stayed at Indian Hills Nudist Resort April 22 - 24th. We rented "the Swamp", a converted travel trailer. It's not the Ritz, just simple with a little rough around the edges. But you don't go here for high class accommodations, you go because it's one of the few places to just be nude. No judgement, no sexual overtones. Just friendly people. They have several activities each weekend that you can participate in, such as Karaoke, grilling out, games, etc. They have special events several times a year, such as Nude Olympics and Bare Biker Rally. Great people from all walks of life and NO ONE judges you by your appearance. We enjoy this place more every time we visit. They have a great heated saltwater pool and a large in ground Hot Tub, lots of lounge chairs and shaded areas.
Room Tip: There are several cottage style rentals as well as RV/tent spaces to rent.
