CONTAINS SPOILERS If you're looking for a film to watch with the family this festive period, perhaps steer clear of Dos (Two) on Netflix, thanks to it featuring one of the most disturbing sex scenes of the year
After having our fill of Christmas classics and festive films, many have been turning to Netflix in recent days when looking for something a little different to kill a few hours.
While plenty have enjoyed Jimmy Carr's latest stand up special, or the star-studded disaster comedy Don't Look Up, some have decided to dabble in the horror genre - giving Mar Targarona's Dos (Two) a go on the streaming platform.
Thanks to it's twisted storyline, dramatic ending and an exceptionally disturbing sex scene, the Spanish horror-thriller has left many viewers lost for word's after watching the psychological drama.
After playing at film festivals since the summer, Dos (Two) is now available to a global audience - many split on what they think after watching the erotic thriller.
Dos (Two) kicks by showing two strangers waking up naked in bed together, coming to the horrific realisation that they have been sewn together at the abdomen.
Already, viewers may some comparisons to the infamous Human Centipede franchise, but the Spanish thriller has actually been likened to another torture porn flick - Saw.
Many have compared the set-up of the new Netflix movie to sadistic villain Jigsaw and his imagined version of his cruel games with a pornographic element.
In Dos (Two) two strangers — Sara (Marina Gatell) and David (Pablo Derqui) — wake up naked and stitched together where even the tiniest bit of movement causes incredible pain for the pair.
While sex may be the last thing on many people's minds placed in this situation, the entwined two do end up going on to produce one of the wildest and most disturbing sex scenes of 2021.
Not only that, plenty of icky and gruesome twists ensure the plot is equally disturbing.
If you can't stomach watching the thriller for yourself, we've summed up the plotline for you below - stop reading now if you're planning to brave watch Dos (Two) one day.
After waking up entwined together, Sara and David try to figure out just who is behind this incredibly weird and intense act, with the pair suspecting Sara's controlling husband, Mario.
David has been working as a male escort and remembers being hired by another man to sleep with his wife - something Sara can picture happening.
After they end up kissing for a second time, their unknown captor shuts off the lights - to avoid seeing the act of intimacy - which reinforces their belief it's Sara's husband behind the set-up.
Somehow, the pair end up going on to have sex in the dark before their sadistic tormentor gives in and offers them a way out of the room.
At this point, things get weird and a plot twist reveals that David and Sara are actually long-lost conjoined twins after being placed in the foster care system after they were born.
Their mother died during their birth it seems and their father was a diagnosed schizophrenic which saw them left to being cared for by the state.
But the pair later discover it was their father behind their present day situation - hence why he kept turning off the lights when they made love.
The long-lost siblings realise their estranged father has murdered Sara's husband and plan to kill their twisted father.
After a scuffle between their father and a gun leaves David wounded, he insists Sara cuts herself free so she can go look for help.
Despite managing to tear herself apart from her brother, it seems there is no happy ending for the pair - as Sara dies in the snow totally naked when attempting to travel to safety.
Dos is available to stream on Netflix

Lena Headey plays Cersei in "Game of Thrones." (HBO)
Did Cersei’s brother Jaime really rape her during the latest episode of “Game of Thrones?” Yes. But only sort of, if you ask the show’s director Alex Graves, who opened up about the controversial scene to HitFix , telling the site, “Well, it becomes consensual by the end, because anything for them ultimately results in a turn-on, especially a power struggle…. it worked out really well. That's one of my favorite scenes I've ever done." But some fans of the show don’t seem to agree. Many took to Twitter to criticize the graphic scene and Graves’ comments about rape. Fans of the series also noted that in the book, the sex scene was consensual. In the episode, which aired Sunday night, the brother and sister pair, who have been lovers in the past, begin to get hot and heavy following the death of their son, Joffrey. When Cersei, played by Lena Headey, tries to put an end to the inappropriate interaction Jaime, played by Nikolaj Coster-Waldau, he rapes her in front of their son’s body.
Graves explained the scene when speaking to the Hollywood Reporter, insisting that it was more about their dead son’s presence than anything else. “I'm never that excited about going to film forced sex. But the whole thing for me was about dead Joffrey lying there, watching the whole thing,” he said. “He is their first born. He is their sin. He is their lust, and their love -- their everything. If he's gone, what's going to happen? Jaime is still trying to believe as hard as he possibly can that he's in love with Cersei. He can't admit that he is traumatized by his family and he's been forced his whole life to be something he doesn't want to be.” What do you think of the controversial scene? Until this week, The Sinner on USA was a wonderful break from the regular agenda-driven television that overwhelms all other options. With the September 6 episode, Part VI, they broke their streak, when the main character Cora ( Jessica Biel ) demonstrates what her boyfriend does to her sexually on her younger sister Phoebe (Augie Murphy).
The show centers around Cora, an everyday small-town New York wife and mother who snaps one day and murders a man on the beach. In the course of the eight-episode series, we explore her past (including her upbringing by Catholic zealots, which has been a popular theme this summer ) through flashbacks as she and the police try to piece together what happened. While Detective Ambrose (Bill Pullman) is convinced her past is the key to making sense of her crime, crucial pieces of her memory are missing. If only I could wipe this scene from my own memory.
As Cora grows into a woman and has new experiences like dating, her sickly younger sister Phoebe is unable to take part in these usual rites of passage. Still, she wants to know everything about sex. So, when Cora begins to experience things for herself, she asks her to demonstrate.
In this flashback scene to their teenage years, Cora complies, first by kissing her sister, then touching her breast over her clothing and, finally, Phoebe putting her sister's hand into her underpants. The scene ends in a close-up of Phoebe panting.
Phoebe: Tell me what he does to you when you're alone.
Cora: Theres- I don't know. Rubbing.
Phoebe: Show me. Show me how he kisses you at least. Cora. Where does he touch you? Please. What does he say?
Was that necessary? Did it further the plot in any demonstrable way? The answer to both, of course, is a resounding “no.” They are going for pure shock value but, really, just being vulgar for the sake of vulgarity. Adding incest into the mix? No, thanks. There are two more episodes of this show left, and I'm hoping that it gets back to being a creepy mystery - not just creepy.
Defending conservative values from assault by leftist media means more than scouring newspapers and cable TV every day.
It means taking on leftist TV shows when they sneak leftist ideology into their plots. It means pointing out what’s genuinely “funny” in late-night comedians’ routines. It means calling out the racism and leftist bias that permeates today’s sports media. These days it means holding Big Tech to account for censorship of conservative speakers and ideas.
Defending America’s traditional values from attacks in movies, TV, sports, music, books, social media, and the news is a full-time job. We are part of the only organization dedicated to this critical mission, and we need your help.
