A teacher has been arrested and charged with incest after a pupil allegedly recognised her and a classmate in a sick video on Pornhub.
Dawn Giannini, 49, who is married to a US army colonel, allegedly appears alongside a 14-year-old family member in the clip.
The horrified student spotted the x-rated clip online and immediately told his principal, who alerted the police.
Mother-of-two Giannini is married to Thomas Giannini, a US Lieutenant Colonel who holds one of the most senior positions in the army.
She was a fourth grade teacher at St. Elizabeth Seton Catholic School in Palo Alto, California, in 2015.
Before that, she was a special education assistant and substitute for the Redwood City School District.
Redwood City School District fired Giannini from a substitute teaching position after she was arrested and she will never be allowed to work in the district again.
Superintendent John Baker sent out an email to parents saying that while it is believed she did not assault a student, the information is "truly heartbreaking."
She remains in police custody and faces a string of charges - including seven counts of a lewd act on a child and six counts of oral copulation on a child under 16.
She is also accused of six counts of sexual penetration with a foreign object, one count of showing to porn to a child and one count of incest.
San Mateo County District Attorney Steve Wagstaffe would not identify how Giannini and the young girl were related.
The teenager is believed to be the one who posted the clips online.
DA Wagstaffe said: "We know the victim was sexually active, and there were a lot of videos that were uploaded.
"We know that this occurred in at least two counties. It occurred here in our county, in Redwood City and there was a trip down to Santa Cruz that she took with the victim and there was sexual activity there."
She is not believed to have acted inappropriately with any of her students, but this is being investigated.
She is being held in jail on £1.3 million bail and set to appear in court next on November 5.

A Michigan mom who fell in love with her biological son says a rare “genetic” phenomenon is responsible for their red-hot romance.
Kim West, 57, got pregnant as a teenager, and gave up her baby boy, Ben Ford, for adoption in the mid-1980s.
Ford, who is now 38, tracked down his mother eight years ago, and the pair formed a close bond. Things quickly turned sexual, and they went public with their incestuous relationship in 2016, with West boasting she had “mind-blowing sex” with her son.
The couple has subsequently kept a low profile in a bid to avoid being prosecuted for their illegal sexual relations, but say science is the reason they can’t keep their hands off each other.
“This is not incest, it is GSA. We are like peas in a pod and are meant to be together,” West declared to New Day, speaking about a phenomenon known as “genetic sexual attraction.”
The phenomenon was first identified back in the 1980s by Barbara Gonyo, a woman who ran a Chicago-based support group for adoptees and their newfound relatives. She coined the term “GSA” after noting that numerous people associated with the group became sexually attracted to their family members when they first met as adults.
Psychologist Corinne Sweet previously told New Day that she has come across the phenomenon while treating patients who had been in foster homes.
“At a genetic level, we are conditioned to find people who look like us attractive,” Sweet stated. “We have an almost tribal connection with family members with similar features. At the same time, people who are adopted or fostered feel deeply rejected. They have experienced a profound wound which isn’t easily healed.”
She further explained: “So when a son meets his birth mother, he feels a great rush of need. There’s an attraction and a longing there, and when it’s combined with the appeal of genetic similarity, it becomes a very powerful and complex cocktail which is incredibly seductive.”
However, other medical experts are skeptical of GSA, with New York City sex therapist Ian Kerner telling Women’s Health that the phenomenon has never been scientifically studied.
“I think that our mating systems tend to seek out genetic difference more than similarity,” he declared. “In the case of incest or romantic love between family members, I think you have to look at it case by case instead of generalizing it as a disorder or genetic condition.”
Meanwhile, clinical psychologist John Mayer bluntly told the magazine: “My professional opinion is that GSA is an excuse to give these people permission to break social norms.”
However, West and Ford say GSA adequately explains the instant attraction they felt for one another.
“I know people will say we’re disgusting, that we should be able to control our feelings, but when you’re hit by a love so consuming you are willing to give up everything for it, you have to fight for it,” West told New Day.
The loved-up mama continued: “It’s a once-in-a-lifetime chance and something Ben and I are not willing to walk away from.”
Her equally shameless son stated: “When I met Kim, I couldn’t think of her as my mom but instead as a sexual being. I had seen a therapist at an adoption support group and had learned about the GSA phenomenon.”
Making their relationship more shocking was the fact that Ford was married at the time they met. The smitten son soon dumped his wife in order to be in a relationship with his mom.
Ford told New Day that he couldn’t get his mother off his mind, saying to his spouse: “Every time I have had sex with you since I met her, I imagine it’s her I am kissing, otherwise I can’t perform.”
Meanwhile, West said it felt as if she and her son had “known each other for years” after they met as adults, describing their sex as “incredible” and “mind-blowing.”
But the couple should be careful about bragging about their hot sex, as incestuous relationships between adults are punishable by up to 15 years in prison in their home state of Michigan.
Anyone found guilty of such an offense would be required to sign the sex offenders registry for life.

The confused child wrote disturbing journal entries detailing the escalating relationship between Steven Pladl and his long-lost biological daughter Katie after the pair reconnected via social media
THE confused diary entries of an 11-year-old girl helped expose the incestuous relationship between her father and her long-lost sister in a scandal that has shocked America.
Steven Pladl of Wake County, North Carolina left his wife to start a relationship with Katie Fusco, going as far as fathering a child with her.
The sordid affair between father and daughter began after Katie decided to track down her biological parents after they gave her up for adoption in 1998.
Katie, who had turned 18, reconnected with her biological parents via social media and went to live with them and their two other children near Richmond, Virginia in August 2016.
Just three months later, Steven and his unsuspecting wife Alyssa separated, and she moved out of the family home taking her two young children with her.
In May 2017, Alyssa received a call from her estranged husband saying their 11-year-old daughter had started to misbehave during visits to see him after he and Katie moved 150 miles away.
He handed his wife the girl’s diary and it was then that the sickening truth emerged .
According to the Daily Mail , the confused and disgusted child had written: “Katie is pregnant. Dad says they feel like couples. Did they get a little too drunk that night? My dad is a slut.
"He'll go to hell but he won't be the one getting tortured, he'll be the one torturing people."
The girl added: "Wait one second if he's Satan and Katie is a human then the baby will be half demon."
The diary also included drawings of her pregnant sister and dad, depicting them both as devils.
Alyssa now feels that he allowed her to read their daughter’s diary as he was too much of a coward to openly tell her the truth.
As expected, the disgusting details in her daughter’s diary left the 37-year-old horrified.
She said: "I lost it. I started screaming. I felt like I was going to throw up.”
After confronting her husband, Alyssa discovered the pair planned to marry and that Steven had instructed his other children to call Katie their “step-mum”.
She told cops her husband would sleep on the floor of Katie’s room in the months before she moved out.
The authorities were alerted and arrest warrants were issued for the pair.
They were tracked down last month and charged with incest with adult, adultery, contributing to delinquency.
A baby boy, understood to be a four-month-old fathered by Steven, was found at their home.
Steven and Katie were held at the Wake County Detention Center pending extradition to Virginia.
Court records show Steven was released on a $1 million bond while Katie, issued with the same bond, remains in jail.
Alyssa lays the blame solely on her 42-year-old ex-husband, insisting he brainwashed and seduced Katie after she moved into their marital home in Henrico.
She said: “There are no words to describe the sense of betrayal and disgust I'm feeling.
“I waited 18 long years to have a relationship with my daughter - and now he's completely destroyed it.”
