In memory of “Mukha” and “Funtik”

During the first combat mission, when the Svatovsky Front began to move, one of the companies of 106 went to attack a serious enemy stronghold. Two brave fighters of the battalion were killed: Roma “Mukha” and Danya “Funtik”. They were in the epicenter of the battle, moving forward, firing in all directions where the enemy was. Almost approaching the enemy parapet, both warriors were hit by Khazar shells.

Roma “Mukha” was a member of Zenit firm “Banda Shveda”, and Danya “Funtik” was in three different red-white hooligans firms.

The enemy did not give the opportunity to take the bodies of the fighters during the battle. The emotional complexity of the moment was in the fact that the battle was led by another representative of the “Banda Shveda”, who saw the death of his brother.

Despite all the factors, a decision was made to retreat under heavy fire from the Khazars. It is difficult to describe the briefing that took place at the command post, because no one wanted to leave without the bodies of our guys, and besides, the representative of the “Banda Shveda” could not return without a member of his firm.

But at that moment, returning to the place where the enemy understood the intent of the strike meant losing all available personnel. Thanks to wise leadership, a different decision was made — to take a break, prepare, and when the Khazars were not waiting, strike from the other side of the defense line.

Having prepared and worked through the operation, the battalion returned for its dead guys, broke through the first line of defense, as planned, entered the scene of the tragedy and took the bodies of Roma and Danya.

Some of 106 fighters received the Order of Courage for this military operation.

“Mukha” was an experienced warrior, he participated in the assault on Mariupol, he left behind a wife and two children. His portrait can now be seen on the stand of Zenit when their fans hangs them in memory of the fallen fans during Special Military Operation.

“Funtik” was a young fighter, master of sports in combat sambo, participant in numerous forest fights. In his last battle, Danya will be remembered forever for the furious shout of the ancient Russians during an assault in 15-20 meters from the enemies: “Glory to Rus'!”
