Tdau-newsAt the initiative of the Department of Agroeconomics at Tashkent State Agrarian University, a scientific seminar on the topic “Technologies for Scientific Publications on the Web” was organized by Mariana Petrova, a well-known Bulgarian scientist, Doctor of Physics and Mathematics, Professor of the Department of Information Technologies of Cyril and Methodius University, Director of the ACCESS magazine publishing house, which is part of the Web of Science database.
This seminar covered such topical issues as improving the quality of scientific publications, a system for evaluating scientific activity in accordance with international standards, science metric indicators and their impact on the activities of researchers. Also, important concepts were presented on the international ranking of scientific journals, the process of indexing articles, citation indicators of scientific articles, and methodologies for correctly maintaining an author profile.
The event was attended by the rector of the Tashkent State Agrarian University, Professor N.N. Oblomuradov, who specifically touched upon the importance of scientific publications in increasing the international ranking of universities and their integration into the global scientific community. The rector of the university drew attention to the issues of improving the quality of scientific research, their indexing in prestigious international databases.
The scientific staff, professors and researchers who participated in the seminar received valuable information about the quality of scientific publications, technical and methodological aspects of their inclusion in international databases. At the same time, new opportunities were discussed in the direction of integration with the global scientific community, internationalization of research, development of scientific cooperation and innovative research.During the meeting, a memorandum of understanding was signed between the rector of Tashkent State Agrarian University Narzullo Oblomuradov and Mariana Petrova, the European Association for Cultural and Socio-Economic Cooperation. This agreement will serve to expand the scope of international scientific cooperation of the university, jointly implement research projects, publish articles in prestigious scientific journals on a co-authorship basis, and establish programs to improve scientific capacity for professors, teachers, and researchers.
This seminar is part of systematic work aimed at increasing the quality of scientific publications and the number of internationally recognized scientific research, and will serve to accelerate the integration processes between the national and international scientific community. This initiative will create a new stage in the development of science and innovation not only of the university, but also of the country
