In line with the implementation of the Capital Market Service Providers Licensing and Supervision Directive (No. 980/2024), this landmark move marks a significant stride towards the nation's incoming capital market landscape.
Announced today, the Ethiopian Capital Markets Authority disclosed that the application process for Capital Market Service Providers will commence in a two weeks' time.
Through social media channels, the Authority has extended an invitation to prospective market participants, encouraging them to familiarize themselves with the stringent license prerequisites outlined in Directive No. 980/2024.
