4.5 stars. Sebastian and Ysa's story already had its fair share of trials and tribulations in VIP and MVP continues their journey to fight for their future together if they can make it work. After reading Madam, I was prepared for just about anything to happen in this book. Sebastian and Ysa are living with each other and enjoying one another's company. Sebastian lives with daily guilt for all the hurt he has caused to Ysa in the past and every action he does is to show her how much he loves her. He's very patient and understanding. He's also very free and happy with her. Ysa on the other hand is struggling. She has adapted to her non-VIP life, but she isn't sure if a domestic life with Sebastian in the way he envisions is what is right for her. She reflects a lot on her upbringing, knowing she has so little experience on what normal is and wonders if she can achieve that for herself. I really empathized with Ysa, she had a less than stellar beginning to her life and now that she finally has everything she could hope and want, she's worried that she's screwing everything up because she isn't what she thinks she ought to be. Although I was never mad at Sebastian in VIP, he did frustrate me at times, but he really comes through for Ysa in MVP, there's no doubt how he feels about her. As much as I hate to admit this, even Julia grew on me in this book, showing her true humanity and maturity finally. Madam is back in the picture and won't give up because she needs Ysa to takeover VIP. The reason why she chooses Ysa is unbeknownst to everyone except those who have read Madam. Mika appears, too, and just like before, he's a wild card, I'm still trying to decide what I think of him, but I'm glad he will get his own story soon because I think I do in fact like him. I was happy to see more of Devon and Brooke as well. Once Ysa discovers why Madam has specifically selected her, everything crashes and burns with Ysa taking the brunt of the pain. The beauty of this series is how everyone has a past filled with mistakes that none of them are proud of, but everyone finds a way to get back up and persevere, but most importantly, forgive oneself. Ysa discovers that the power she held as a VIP no longer holds any appeal to her and she's afraid of what she really wants because she's not sure if she can live up to it and deserve it. I'm glad her story didn't stop with VIP because Ysa still had a lot of growing up to do and due to so many catalytic events in MVP, Ysa found her last bit of strength and her way to where she belonged.
Again, I am pleasantly surprised how much I enjoyed M. Robinson's writing in this third book of the VIP series. While I wasn't a huge fan of Madam herself, I did like the Ysabelle and Sebastian characters from the first book and am glad to see they were the focal point of book three. This review may spoil books one and two. "The instant connection we shared and the gravitational pull we had toward each other was inevitable. That's what happens when two halves of a heart come together and become one. They're bonded for life." ~ Sebastian "There was no Sebastian without Ysabelle. She was my everything....." ~ Sebastian MVP picks up right where VIP left off, with Ysa and Sebastian stating from scratch. They so needed that and with their time apart, Ysa became a stronger woman while Sebastian figured out what he wanted to do with the rest of his life. Things are all straightened out with Julia and Christian, now it was time to straighten it out with Ysa. "There wasn't one place on my body that hadn't been touched by a man or a woman, except my heart. That has only ever been touched and connected to one person. Sebastian." ~ Ysa Sounds easy enough. Stay together on the island and run her bar, live happily ever after. Nope. Too freaking easy to write that story. M. Robinson runs her characters through the emotional ringer and expects things to be all honky dory. Like in VIP, you can't read this story fast enough to see how it is going to turn out in the end. Ysa and Sebastian are defiantly changed people this time around, however that seems to be what is freaking each of them out. He's a feeling talker abouter and she isn't at all, and that seems to be the crux of the relationship problems. With a past like the one they share, it's a no brainer they have a lot to figure out if they are ever going to move forward together. "Everything in life happens for a reason." "And he was my reason." "Always and forever." ~ Ysa The book is well written although I do have two small gripes. One is that we are constantly told how tiny Ysa is. We get it, she's small, move on. Also there is some repeating in the chapters. I love a POV story, especially the way M. Robinson alternates within the chapter, however the repeating of the previous lines seem like filler, not expanding of the story. That being said, MVP was an excellent addition to the VIP series.
This was the perfect ending to this story. It might not have been the traditional, happy-go-lucky, happily ever after. But that's perfect, because Sebastian and Ysa's relationship was anything but normal and traditional. They had both made many many mistakes but in the end they could never deny the feelings they had for each other. Though it was hard to read, I really liked getting into the nitty gritty that was Ysa. Getting her see how she truly came to VIP, because in the end it allowed her to truly realize who she was. How she only felt whole when she was with Sebastian. It was intense and heartbreaking to see how much both Ysa and Sebastian went through to be together. But seeing that even with all of the messed up things that happened, that they could forgive and truly be together, be the anchor that held each other up. In order for Ysa to truly be Sebastian's she had to fight her own demons and live to love herself first. And thankfully Madam got what was coming to her. I grew to really love these characters and seeing them happy, sad, angry, in love. I felt and went through every emotion with them. And this is a story I won't forget!
I am so up and down with this series! I loved VIP, I didn’t like The Madam so much….but I truly loved this! I am a sucker for a love story and this truly was. So many twists and turns and so much love. The one thing that did get repetitive and a bit boring I am sad to say we’re the naughty bits which I scrolled past! Loved the story though and that ending xx

Brilliant conclusion ...
Brilliant conclusion to this amazing trilogy from M Robinson.I Wow ... Devoured every word of this book., loved it. Right up until the end I didn't know how this book would end, couldn't put it down. It's not an easy ride for Sebastian and Ysa to be together. Ysa"s own insecurities could jeopardise there happiness, then there's Christian (Sebastian son) and of course Madam ! At times I found myself wanting to scream at Ysa but that been said I totally understood her turmoil.... she's lost ! Absolutely love Sebastian, strong, possessive, sexy and so loving ! This couple have a battle on there hands if they want a forever together. Stunningly written with scorching hot love scenes. Fabulous !! 5 ***** Hugh stars for this touching, emotional, sexy hot read. Finishing this book I was so happy to find a spin off book to two other characters from this trilogy. So I'm off to dive into that ;-)

Although the endings are a bit too happy for me, nevertheless I enjoyed these books, the sex (not easy to write) is to my mind always evocative and interesting, the characters believable and the exploration of modern sexual mores intriguing
