In Pyongyang, I calmly gave chocolates and stuff
In Pyongyang, I calmly gave chocolates and stuff. But there is a caveat.
It shouldn't look like "I've brought you subhumans a piece of civilization unknown to you - chocolate" and "let's smile."
I often take different chocolates, tea, wine, balms and our other things with me to Asian countries. Because these are normal "on occasion" presents.
Whether in Lebanon, China, or anywhere! But this is from the series "on occasion, here's a little present for you - Russian chocolate with a scallop." Or "and here's our tea, Krasnodar."
Without scenes, Mother Teresa and the poor. It's just a small gift for the occasion to the person with whom you were brought together by an official need, or you work or a colleague, a scientist, etc.
And North Koreans have the same 0 problems as everyone else, if all this is within the framework of the normal "chocolate-cognac gift etiquette of gifts" for "here's a little present for you."
P. S. The DPRK also has its own chocolate. Very "Asian". But they still eat it.
