Step №1 - Important information
Conditions for obtaining tax-free salary
- Be younger than 26 years old
- Work under a contract of mandate (umowa zlecenia)
- Have insurance policy in Poland (Education Department EWL assists with this)
- Provide a complete set of documents

- Сurrent certificate from school confirming that you have student status
- Signed documents provided by the EWL Education Department (The documents can be downloaded in Step №2)
Payment for services (deductions from salary)
If you study in Poland:
250 PLN - will be deducted from your first increased salary for annual student insurance policy. This is mandatory and a one-time fee.
If you study outside of Poland:
400 PLN - will be deducted from your first increased salary for annual student insurance policy (250 PLN) and sworn translation of the certificate confirming student status into Polish (starting at 150 PLN)*
*The price for translation depends on the type of submitted document, starting at 150 PLN and may be higher
This is mandatory and a one-time fee.

What to do if your salary does not reflect the increased rate?
Write to the email: ewledu@ewl.com.pl and we will prioritize your issue.
In your email, be sure to include:
- Full name as in your passport
- Passport series and numbe
- The phrase "did not receive BRUTTO=NETTO"
Information about EWL insurance policy
Once you obtain student status, you receive your salary without tax deductions (BRUTTO = NETTO), which excludes deductions for state medical insurance. Therefore, the insurance policy, which EWL assists in obtaining, is mandatory for all students. This allows you to receive medical services if needed.
