Step №1 - Important information



Conditions for obtaining tax-free salary 

  1. Be younger than 26 years old 
  2. Work under a contract of mandate (umowa zlecenia) 
  3. Have insurance policy in Poland (Education Department EWL assists with this) 
  4. Provide a complete set of documents 


Complete set of documents

  1. Сurrent certificate from educational institution confirming that you have learner status
  2. Signed documents provided by the EWL Education Department (The documents can be downloaded in Step №2)


Payment for services (deductions from salary) 

250/310 PLN will be deducted from your first increased salary for the issuance of the annual insurance policy (depending on the insurance policy option you choose). This is mandatory and a one-time fee.

What to do if your salary does not reflect the increased rate? 

Write to the email: ewledu@ewl.com.pl and we will prioritize your issue. 

In your email, be sure to include: 

  1. Full name as in your passport
  2. Passport series and numbe 
  3. The phrase "did not receive BRUTTO=NETTO" 


Information about EWL insurance policy 

By obtaining learner status, you will receive your salary (gross = net) without deductions for public health insurance contributions. Therefore, an insurance policy from EWL is mandatory for everyone who has learner status. Having this policy ensures access to medical services when needed.

EWL offers 2 insurance policy options. You will be able to choose one of them when filling out the application form:

Option 1 – 250 PLN

✅ The insurance covers medical treatment costs up to 30,000 EUR

✅ Up to 2 visits to a general practitioner (GP) and 1 visit to a specialist doctor during a one-year insurance period

✅ This insurance is suitable for applying for a residence permit (Karta pobytu)

 

Option 2 – 310 PLN

✅ The insurance covers medical treatment costs up to 10,000 EUR
✅ There is no limit on the number of visits to a general practitioner (GP) or specialist doctors. The costs are covered until the insurance limit (EUR 10,000) is reached during the one-year insurance period

❌ This insurance is not suitable for applying for a residence permit (Karta pobytu)
