Implementation Coordinator
Digital nomads. Work from anywhereCompany: Alpine Business Consulting
Alpine Business Consulting is currently supporting a global logistics client in a major effort to reorganize their internal reporting and performance management systems. Logistics operations generate massive amounts of data every day, and when those numbers do not align across international borders or different departments, it creates friction in the supply chain. We are bringing on an Implementation Coordinator to assist our senior consultants as we build a single source of truth for this client. This is a fully remote position that focuses on the practical side of system configuration and client handover.
About Alpine Business Consulting
We are a specialized team that fixes enterprise performance management and reporting systems that have lost their way. Many companies invest in complex planning tools only to find that the initial implementation was rushed or handled by people who did not understand the underlying business logic. This leaves finance and operations teams dealing with numbers that do not match and month-end closes that take far too long. We step in to configure these systems properly or build new ones from the ground up.
Our consultants have spent years working with Oracle EPM, SAP BPC, and modern analytics stacks. We believe in transparency and predictability, which is why we provide fixed price quotes wherever possible. We prioritize documentation that a client team can actually use after we leave. Our goal is to hand over a system that works reliably and then step back, ensuring the company has the training and configuration guides needed to remain independent.
What you will do
Working as part of the implementation team for our global logistics client, you will be responsible for the administrative and organizational tasks that keep a project moving. Your day-to-day work involves ensuring that every piece of the new system is documented and every task is accounted for. This is a remote role where you will work closely with senior consultants to translate business needs into technical reality.
* Track project timelines and update task lists to ensure the logistics engagement stays on schedule.
* Assist in the creation of configuration guides and system manuals that clients will use for internal training.
* Maintain the project documentation repository, ensuring all versions are organized and accessible.
* Help consultants identify and log data mapping errors during the testing phase.
* Coordinate meetings between our technical team and the client operations staff.
* Format reports and dashboards to ensure they meet the specific visual standards required by the client.
* Provide support during the handover process to ensure the client team understands the new system features.
What we are looking for
This is an entry level role, and we are looking for someone who is organized and curious about how large companies manage their data. You do not need years of experience with Oracle or SAP, but you must be comfortable learning how these platforms function. We value candidates who care about clarity and consistency in their work.
* Strong writing skills with the ability to explain technical steps in plain English.
* Familiarity with spreadsheet software and a comfort level working with tables of data.
* A high level of organization and the ability to manage your own schedule while working remotely.
* An interest in business processes, particularly how information flows through a global company.
* Attentiveness to detail, especially when checking reports for accuracy.
* Professional communication skills for interacting with client contacts and internal team members.
* A willingness to ask questions when a instruction is unclear or a data point looks incorrect.
Working at Alpine Business Consulting
Our team works entirely from home. We believe that by removing the commute and the noise of a traditional office, our consultants can focus better on the complex problems we solve for our clients. Because we are a remote company, we rely heavily on written communication and clear documentation to stay aligned. We avoid unnecessary meetings and respect individual focus time.
We do not use client projects as a training ground for inexperienced consultants, but we do believe in mentorship. In this role, you will work directly with veterans who have seen every implementation mistake in the book. You will see how we handle stalled cloud migrations and how we fix dashboards that nobody opens. It is a practical environment where the focus is always on providing a single source of truth that the client can trust every morning.
What the role offers
This is a permanent, full-time position. We provide a paid role with a compensation package that is competitive for the current market and seniority level. You will gain direct exposure to high-level consulting projects and learn the intricacies of enterprise software configuration. We provide the tools and support needed for you to work effectively from your remote location. Beyond the pay, you will have the opportunity to develop a deep understanding of EPM systems that are essential to modern business operations.
At Alpine Business Consulting, we measure success by the stability of the systems we leave behind. We are not interested in long-term staff augmentation or creating dependency. We want to build systems that work, document them clearly, and move on to the next challenge. If you enjoy bringing order to disorganized data and helping projects reach a successful conclusion, this role provides a solid foundation in the world of business consulting.
