There is no doubt in my mind that this is the best upscale hotel in downtown Minsk. The location is great - just a short walk from the upper town and the subway station giving quick access to anywhere one wishes to go, either by public transportation or a taxi (taxi are very affordable in Minsk, and Uber is even cheaper).
The hotel is connected to a brand new large mall with a large grocery downstairs and all necessary services (telecom, currency exchange) and shops (Minsk is not a shopping paradise but if one needs to buy something, it will likely be available in the mall). The mall has indoor parking too.
The personnel of the hotel is attentive, very polite, efficient and yet not intrusive - I felt welcome and comfortable through all my stay in the hotel. I was positively surprised.
The hotel is brand new - consequently, furniture and equipment in the rooms is new and nice.
The hotel recognized my gold status with Hilton and upgraded me to a suite - that was a very nice gesture. The junior suite is large (~65m2), with a large well-appointed bathroom with a bathtub next to a window; it also has a separate toilet in the living room.
The breakfast was included in my rate (I wouldn't recommend to pay for breakfast since there are many diverse breakfast places nearby). The breakfast buffet is Ok but not particularly memorable.... There is no doubt in my mind that this is the best upscale hotel in downtown Minsk. The greatest hotel in Minsk! Me and my family stayed there during the May holidays and we enjoyed our stay. The staff, the breakfasts, the location - everything was perfect. A bellman Nikita is very friendly and helpful, provided us with many tips about the hotel and the city. Thanks to all the team for such great memories.

The DoubleTree Minsk wouldn't be what it is without the extraordinarily warm staffl! From the moment I set foot in the hotel, the staff was beyond welcoming. Even when I called downstairs with a request, they sounded happy to have the opportunity to help! The hotel is quite new, and the rooms are very clean and well appointed. Drinks in the mini-bar are free and include 2 Cokes, 4 bottles of water (2 sparkling, 2 still), and 1 apple juice. There's also a personal coffee machine. Full set of toiletries replenished daily. Since I was on holiday, I asked the hotel for recommendations and coordination of my daily activities. Evgeniy the concierge personally and quickly responded to questions even while I was on tour and even kindly helped me pay the bus driver because I didn't get cash in advance! Yulya at the front desk was also very warm and welcoming and provided wonderful suggestions. It's rare that the staff care so much and give you their contact information in case you need something while away. One of the guides they work with - Dasha - is especially personable and fantastic. Would definitely recommend her if you book tours through them. The hotel doesn't have a spa on site but does partner with a high-end Thai spa across the river (5-7 ruble cab ride, and cabs take credit cards even for such a small amount). While that spa doesn't do traditional Thai massage, the massage was still very good, and the spa was nicely decorated. Great service there as well. Open until 11pm, which is also good! The buffet breakfast has a great variety of food, and the host and hostess are very friendly and check in on you regularly. I ordered room service one night after hours and was a bit disappointed in the the late night menu, but I also understand as the hotel is just starting out, they might not have as much staff after the restaurants close. The laundry service is very generous - as long as you give it to them between 8am and 8pm, they will have it ready for you the next day, which is very nice since the cut-off is usually earlier in other hotels. One more point - the hotel is adjacent to a large shopping mall with a grocery store downstairs, so you have easy access to stock up on whatever you forgot or are craving food wise. The mall also provides a quick indoor shortcut to the main street, which you only lose after the mall closes (it adds a few minutes to your walk because you have to go around the buildings to get back to the hotel, though it only happened to me because I wasn't dropped off in front of the hotel). Overall, an excellent stay - couldn't have asked for a better one! Would absolutely stay at the DoubleTree again.

One of the best hotels at minsk Attached to a shopping mall , close to the all facilities Stuff are super friendly Bar at 21st floor is highly recommended Bottom line : visit it and donot miss the cookies

This is my first visit to Belarus and based on past experience of Doubletree hotels I have stayed before I thought the Minsk hotel would offer the service and comfort I have come to expect. I have not been disappointed, the receptionist spoke perfect English and was most helpful in making arrangements for a quiet room. And I was given the obligatory cookie to welcome me. Room service is quick and the club sandwich I had was excellent. I did not have breakfast so cannot comment on this, but I did use the hotel cafe which serves great coffee. The hotel is attached to a new shopping mall if your retail therapy needs topping up ! When I come back to Minsk I will not hesitate to book a room here again. Hope you find this helpful

Incredible rooms. Great breakfast selection. The upstairs bar is more of a miss than a hit. Welcoming and helpful staff. There is a shopping mall next door that had useful shops - a pharmacy and a SIM card store. I was here for a 3 day trip for work, and the client arranged the booking. I'd definitely stay again, lovely hotel.
