Imagine In Your Fps Boost Skills But Never Stop Enhancing
Testing at cronus gaming has shown us that Shadow of the Tomb Raider Xbox Series X|S FPS Boost will boost the game up to 4K and 60 FPS with the Xbox Series X. The news is a sweet reward for the next generation owners as well as future owners since it keeps making an Xbox Series X|S an even better value with each passing of time.
The Xbox Series S is not as impressive , as it only delivers the 900p resolution at 30 FPS, with Shadow of the Tomb Raider Xbox Series X|S FPS Boost update . This is because the game isn't receiving an optimized for Xbox Series X|S update which could bring higher resolution for the Xbox Series S to a higher level, as it is running on Xbox One S settings, but none the less it's a great upgrade at no cost in case we don't get an optimized version for Xbox Series X|S upgrade or remaster later on down the road.
The Xbox One X has the same game settings that are available on that of the Xbox Series X which are higher resolution and performance mode. Both for the Xbox Series X are giving us 60 FPS and the performance mode providing 1080p, which I wouldn't recommend using unless you need to lock 60 FPS, or you don't have a VRR (Variable Refresh Rate) to cover those imperfections.
I personally don't worry to much about it as I have a VRR (Variable Refresh Rate) television, however, even if I didn't, I wouldn't bother about it because the game does not drop the FPS often , and this is not a competitive game so the drops aren't that important.
A side note: VRR won't be sufficient if it dropped below 50 FPS frequently, since VRR can mask the drops as low as 50, but not below that or else it won't make a difference; yet the drops aren't common.

There won't be any graphical updates since it is just an improvement behind the scenes in FPS only. I tested the loading and nothing seemed to change.
As a side note, I bought this game on a sale then did not play it until it came out on the Xbox Game Pass which made me feel stupid for not waiting. I was able to get over it since it did end up leaving it and I want to own my games as much as possible except the Microsoft first party ones since they'll be part of the Xbox Game Pass indefinitely cause Microsoft owns the studio.
I am telling you this because I want to encourage you to go through my guide on how to obtain the free Xbox Game Pass thru the Microsoft Rewards Program:
