With no guarantee of what is going to go on in the world, even though bookmakers have plenty of 2022 betting special markets , I'm a Celebrity may or may not have a choice of returning to Australia and how that will affect future viewing or even the continuation is something for debate.
Some fans claim the show should take a year off and not film in Wales again if a return down under is not possible with just 25% thinking it should remain in Wales.
80% of fans claimed that the trials were not up to the usual standard either, another reason for viewing figures falling, although on the flip side some regarded some of the trials too harsh too.
Midway through the show when the storm halted production a throwback show was aired which probably did more harm than good, showcasing the best bits of 19 years in the Australian jungle.

There could be some make-or-break decisions being made about the future of the UK editions of I'm a Celebrity Get Me Out of Here after viewing figures almost halved for the 2021 final compared with just 12 months previous.
Just 7.1 Million Viewers tuned in to watch Emmerdale's Danny Miller crowned King of the Castle at the end of the trouble hit TV show which saw the weather and Covid play its part and lower than average I'm a Celebrity Betting activity.

Figures were higher at the start of the series but fell away as fans began to complain and get tired of the format forced into a Noth Wales castle from the Australian Jungle and there are fears the show could have run its course under Ant & Dec, especially if Australia is no longer an option.
Speculation has begun as to whether the show will be canceled by ITV although it looks like a return to Australia could see the 22nd show going ahead next winter.
