Iggy Azalea Leaks Nude Photos From a GQ Shoot

Iggy Azalea's nude photos from a 2016 GQ shoot were leaked over the weekend and she doesn't seem happy about it. In her note, she explains that she felt blindsided and violated by the topless outtakes that made it to the Internet.

The "Fancy" singer wrote that she knew the pictures would be used for the cover shoot, but she didn't expect to see them circulated online without her permission. She says she was completely blindsided and "embarrassed, angry, confused, sad, and a million other things" by the leak of the topless images. She says she will press charges against the person or people who leaked them.

She went on to say that the leaking of the topless photos is just one example of how her body and identity have been objectified. She adds that she wants people to treat her with respect and dignity. She says the tidal wave of disgusting, dehumanizing comments she has received on her social media accounts is overwhelming and makes her feel like throwing up.

Azalea, 28, who goes by the name Amethyst Amelia Kelly, was born and raised in Sydney, Australia. She has been working on her rap career since she was 16 and moved to Miami to pursue it professionally. Her debut album came out in 2014 and she became a global star with hits such as "Fancy" and "Problem."

In the past few years, Iggy's career has hit a snag. She's canceled tour dates, scrapped an album and gone through a public breakup. In 2017, she got into a major feud with fellow rapper Azealia Banks over her alleged cultural appropriation and lack of engagement with black issues.
