IFBB Pro Bikini is a new category in IFBB (which stands for the International Federation of BodyBuilders) contests, but not all bodybuilding fans are crazy about this new division, saying that bikini contests are better suited for spring break. Some feel that the bikini division was created just to draw more attention to the contest and bring in more money.
But these ladies train hard and diet to get into competition shape. So if they work as hard as their bodybuilding counterparts, why not hold them in just as high regard?
To recognize their hard work, here are some of the women that I think will be the main players in this new division.
Bikini competitor, fitness model and trainer Marzia Prince
I have an entire article devoted to Marzia, and this blond fitness beauty from Dallas, Texas, may be the first big thing in the IFBB Pro Bikini division. But, don't think this lady is all show.
She's a certified personal trainer, a physical fitness specialist, and a pre/postnatal fitness instructor. She is trained in the biomechanics of resistance training, is a fitness specialist for older adults (65 and up), and she has her nutrition certification and is CPR certified. Whew!
Marzia has appeared in magazines such as Planet Muscle, Flex, Muscle Mag, Oxygen, and Muscular Development, just to name a few.
Lovely Jessica Anderson won the first-ever National Bikini Overall Champion title at the first NPC National Bikini competition in Hollywood, Florida, in November 2009 and got her IFBB Pro card at the same event.
Yes, this is the same Kristal Marshall that was a WWE Diva at one time and is the "significant other" of pro wrestler and MMA fighter Bobby Lashley.
Kristal was the Bikini Overall Champ at the 2009 NPC USA Championships and got her Pro card.
She later came in 2nd place at the 2009 Arnold Classic bikini contest. And these bikini contests didn't end with someone getting hit over the head with a folding chair!
Beautiful Vietnamese model Tianna Ta has made the move from modeling to the fitness stage in a big way. Last year she won Class D at the NPC National Bikini competition in Hollywood, Florida, and got her IFBB Bikini Pro Card. Then she came in first at the 2009 New England Championships (B Class) and came in 3rd place at the 2009 Team Universe (D Class).
The lovely Missy Coles is not only a bikini competitor but also a public relations rep. Okay, who wouldn't hire Missy as a PR rep?
She is also a former classic dancer, and she won the bikini tall class at the NPC Coastal USA.
This fitness beauty from Daytona Beach is off to a great start in the IFBB Bikini Pro division.

This five foot ten, 150-pound fitness beauty has a bright future ahead of her.
This young lady from Morrisville, Pennsylvania, really made a name for herself in 2009. And I think she has competed in every contest since then. Look at her competition history!
IFBB Bikini Pro, female fitness competitor, fitness model, and also certified personal trainer, Julie Costa was born in Melrose, Massachusetts.
Julie came in second place (short class) at the 2009 NPC Team Universe show in New York and got her IFBB Pro card.
Ashley Kaltwasser is the Ms. Bikini Olympia of 2015. She was born on November 22nd, 1988 in Akron, Ohio. Ashley is a former track and field athlete which led to her training for fitness and figure competitions.
She is five foot four and weighs 124 pounds.
IFBB Bikini Pro Michelle Lewin was born in Venezuela. She started out as a glamour model before she switched to fitness and went all in. Michelle is VERY popular on the internet and has a big and loyal fanbase.
Five foot eight, 122-pound IFBB Bikini Pro Justine Munro is from Oakville, Ontario, Canada. She is an IFBB Bikini Professional, a Gaspari athlete, a KHP Designs sponsored athlete, and a published fitness model and cover model. Justine has had first place wins at the 2015 IFBB Patriots Pro Bikini, the 2013 IFBB St. Louis Pro Bikini, the 2012 IFBB EVLs Prague Pro Championships, and the 2012 IFBB St. Louis Pro Bikini.

IFBB Bikini Pro and fitness model India Paulino was born on July 17th, 1987, and lives in Fort Lauderdale, Florida.
She is five foot two and weighs 110 pounds.
And India is from the Dominican Republic... a country that seems to be catching up with Brazil as the birthplace of female fitness stars.
IFBB Bikini Pro Janet Layug resides in Orlando, Florida.
She was the winner of the FLEX Bikini Model Competition, and she was a 2013 Miss Hooters Swimsuit Pageant Finalist.
Janet has been competing since 2013 and turned pro in 2014.

It wasn't spectacular but it was still pretty good.
This five foot five, 120-pound beauty came in second a few times but didn't quite grab that elusive first place position.
Narmin Assria is an IFBB Pro Bikini Competitor, a BMR Athlete, a Team Oddo Angels Athlete, a Bikini Posing Coach, and a Fitness Model.
She is also surprisingly small.
Narmin is only five foot one and weighs 94 pounds.
Yeah... 94 pounds.
Sarah Allen, Australian sports model and IFBB Bikini Pro
Sarah Allen is an Australian sports model and IFBB Bikini Pro.
Breathtakingly beautiful bikini competitor Sondra Blockman is the sister of IFBB Pro Erica Blockman.
Sondra Blockman hasn't turned pro yet, but I hope she does.

Gorgeous IFBB Bikini Pro Noemi Olah has been competing for quite a while.
She turned pro six years ago and since then has been in over 20 competitions. coming in first in four of them and in the top five seventeen times.
Her first Pro competition was at the 2010 IFBB Arnold Amateur International Bodybuilding, Fitness, Figure & Bikini Championships, which she won.
All of the young ladies are Champions!

These girls are beautiful, but I honestly think that Jessica Jessie deserves to be in the top 10. That girl is Too Marvelous for Words
Having won an ameteur level regional bikini competition, I can tell you it is very difficult to train for the "bikini ideal" muscle balance/proportion withOUT leaning out or getting too defined. Achieving the right balance is a science, just like bodybuilding or figure. Bikini is slightly more forgiving than bodybuilding because the diet is more liberal.
This IS the correct category. IFBB Bikini came out of the world of bodybuilding, and they have to work much like bodybuilders (without as much drugs), to build a nice physique. Its not some "woohoo, hey these girls are hot, everybody scream for your favorite". Its hard work, respect, and placement, based on a number of different criteria. Both men AND women judges judge these competitions.

I am definitely not a body builder, but some of my friends are. All I can tell you is that if I went to one of their competitions and they had a contest with those girkls, I would enjoy watching it better than watching my friends. I love the smooth muscle tone of those girls.
