The Best Overall Stroller
If you're planning on lugging around a stroller for a long time, it must be able to do more than take your child from point A to point B. Strollers are more prolific than rabbits. The purchase of a stroller that can handle your family's entire outings is a wise investment.
Nuna MIXX Next is a multi-purpose stroller that does it all. It's easy to store, folds down compactly, and glides smoothly on sidewalks as well as cobblestones, grass, and. It's also available in bundles with the light PIPA Urbn car seat to create a complete travel set. The price is more expensive than the other options, but our testers said it was worth it because it's tough and can withstand even the most strenuous trips.
Three-wheelers are a great choice for a lightweight stroller that can still handle some more rugged terrain. The Thule Shine is a good option, and we've called it the previous winner in this category. It's a bit more costly than our other choices, but it feels solid, and comes with a variety of features (car seat compatible! dual cup holders!) which makes it a worthwhile investment. It can also be folded down to fit into the overhead bins of airplanes which makes it a great choice for families that travel frequently.
Wendy Schmitz, Senior Review Editor at Baby Gear Reviews, has been reviewing strollers for more than two years. She along with our product testing team test each stroller by pushing, running, folding and lifting them to assess their efficiency, comfort and usefulness. All of them are mothers and are aware of the importance of a quality stroller for everyday use as well as family outings. This year we expanded our testing pool to include five parenting experts and stroller experts. Compact all-terrain stroller included Lisa Trofe (executive director of the Juvenile Product Manufacturers Association), Kyleyn Gosewisch (customer care specialist at the strolleria), Marielle Marquez (pediatric occupational therapist), Holly Choi (cofounder and co-owner of Safe Beginnings First Aid), Holly Choi and Sarah Huff.
The BOB Sport Utility
The BOB Sport Utility is the best stroller for parents who want to get off the beaten path and get some exercise. This jogging stroller features pneumatic knobby tires that are perfect for trail runs, and hand brakes that let you manage the downhills. It also features a state-of the-art suspension system and a two-step folding design, and an enormous cargo basket. It can also be used with a car seat for your infant by purchasing the appropriate adapters.
The main drawback of this jogging stroller is its weight and size when folded. It weighs 25 pounds and folds to 17,850 cubic inch, which is the average for this category. The size of its footprint is not suitable for tight turns and small trunk spaces. It does however have an incredibly small handle in the rear of the storage bin that can be pulled to fold the stroller into a compact flat position.
This stroller is easy to maneuver despite its size. The front wheel is fitted with a locking mechanism which lets you switch from normal to locked running mode. The handlebar can be adjusted to accommodate different heights of parents. It comes with a spacious seat which can be reclined to almost flat and a large window made of vinyl.
The Sport Utility also scored a 9 out of 10 for its impressive quality. It has a strong frame made of aluminum with tight connections, smooth edges and no poor stitching. It also comes with adjustable shocks, which help with smooth-rolling performance.
The Sport Utility stroller, like the other BOBs we've reviewed has optional car seat adapters. This lets you use it with a variety of car seats for infants. In our tests, it took us about 5:24 minutes to assemble this stroller from unpacking to being ready to run. It was simple enough to complete, however you'll require a Philips head screwdriver to complete the task. The manual included is well-organized and easy to follow, but it's good to keep one in your case.
The Baby Trend Expedition
Designed with safety, style and ease of use in mind, this jogger features parents' tray with 2 cup holders, covered storage and a swing away tray for the child that includes two cup holders. The adjustable canopy with a peek-aboo window and the extra-wide ergonomically-shaped handle provide comfort for both parents. The lockable front swivel wheel can be locked to jog, but unlocked for strolling. The large storage basket can accommodate essential travel items.
In the Strollers test program at Consumer Reports, the Baby Trend Expedition jogger performs well overall for the price, and scores higher than its competition in various categories. The 5-point harness that folds, unfolds backrest, adjusting the backrest, engaging wheel brakes, and infant car seat installation and removal (only compatible models) are all included. It has a simple design, with a single-handed recline that's deep enough to allow napping. The canopy cover with an adjustable ratcheting isn't easy to use. It takes about 8 minutes to install, and the instructions are confusing with multiple languages mixed together and difficult-to-read illustrations.
The only negative about this jogger is that it doesn't come with suspension, which means it's more prone to bumps than some of the other all-terrain strollers we've tested. This could make it difficult for children with small hands, especially when their nap is about to begin. The air-filled wheels are great, however they don't offer the same amount of cushioning as rubber tires found on higher-end strollers.
This is a great option for people who don't plan to run frequently however want to move across grass and gravel without difficulty and without problems with curbs, or other obstacles. It's also a great choice for families with a limited space as it folds down into an extremely compact size. It is lighter than most of the other joggers we've tested and fits in spaces that some full-size strollers won't.
Another benefit is that it is more easy to carry and lift than the bulkier joggers we've tried. This is especially crucial if you need to lift it into and out of the trunk of your car regularly or if you're always on the go.
The Nipper Sport V4
If you're looking for the top jogger that can handle all terrains and conditions, look no further than the Nipper Sport V4. This pushchair comes with a handlebar as well as front suspension, which makes it ideal for all kinds of terrains. It also has a multi-position recline seat and removable quilted seat liner and a padded five point safety harness and hinged bumper bar. It's also travel system-compatible which means you can use it with a Cybex Maxi-Cosi or a Be-Safe infant car seat.
Another excellent feature of this buggy is the large front wheel, which helps to ensure an easy ride for your child. This is especially important when tackling difficult terrain as it enables the buggy to better track and glide more easily over bumps and dips. Additionally the Nipper Sport is also very easy to drive. The handlebar is ergonomic in design and a single pedal easy-lock brake with adjustable steering. The buggy folds very quickly, thanks to the clear instructions and photos in the user guide.

The Nipper Sport is designed for children aged up to six months. It can be used with a newborn because of the built-in insert. However, it's not recommended for use with infants younger than six months, because the harness of the seat isn't secure enough to secure them.
The pushchair is also without an under-seat storage basket. seat. The small shopping bag at the back of seat isn't large enough to accommodate a large changing pouch. It is, however, extremely easy to open and close, with just two hands needed to release the plastic catches that are on either side of the lower frame. There is a second lock catch on the handlebar in red which can be opened by one hand, which makes it extremely convenient to use.
