Cinderella was taught about mechanics. The movie is cheesy, but a cute version. The Step-mom’s voice is too high pitched.

I enjoyed the movie I really did, but though I am known to watch movies over and over this is a one time watch. The story left to many wholes in it. A bright talented skillful girl like that that is not in school could have walked away long ago so why didn't she. The combined IQ and acting skill of the step mother and step sisters wouldn't equal a 5 year old let alone a 5th grader. Cinderella and her prince completely carried the show. If not for them the show would have been a one star. There is an nice musical dance number that was cool despite the fact it didn't fully fit. Georgie and the princes manager did a fair job of acting but the wholes in their parts made them weak. They had a hard time trying to carry those spots not that I blame them, even the best of actors would have had trouble with those wholes. Still if your under 10 and all you need is a good song and dance well it's a great show.

Okay, so it has serious flaws. The evil step mother/sisters were too over the top/too annoying. It played like a spoof. And the audio mixing when Sofia Carson sang was awful. Her singing is wonderful but she was supposed to be singing on a stage without a mic and it was blasting like a loud radio. Her lip syncing was off too. Ignoring the flaws, it was a heartfelt story and I liked it.

I like this broadway type of Cinderella movie. Very entertaining and all the casts performed well with the role they play.

What can I say? I’m a sucker for cheesy Cinderella type romance movies. This one had a fun twist and included some catchy musical numbers. I don’t really ask for more than that for this type of movie. If you’re looking for something deep and meaningful, this is definitely not it. Good lighthearted fun with some chuckles thrown in. To give some demographics... I’m a female reviewer in my mid-20s. That’s not to say people outside this demographic won’t enjoy it too (I’ll probably enjoy this kind of movie when I’m old and gray as it’s my guilty pleasure) but just giving you an idea where I’m coming from. Enjoy!

I love this movie but there is only one reason why I gave it four stars and that is because I felt like the step mother and step sisters were WAAAAAYY too annoying. I'm fine with them being stuck up and bossy but when they yell every five seconds and the step mother repeating herself over and over and over and over again, it really takes away from such a good movie. I do recommend it to everyone who loves Cinderella but if you have a low tolerance for really annoying people than take caution. The music is awesome and I love Sofia Carson. She is such an amazing actress and the rest of the cast is great too

One things that connects the franchise is that each of the females leads in A Cinderella Story all came from or starred on Disney Channel and it's sister network ABC Family (FreeForm). Former Pop-Star Hillary Duff had her own show on the Disney Channel called Lizzie McGuire and she was the star of ABC Family's Beauty & the Briefcase. Pop Star Selena Gomez another starred on her own show The Wizards of Waverly Place which is where Lucy Hale another former Pop Star had made her debut until she moved to ABC Family's Pretty Little Liars. I'm not going to be that rough on this movie unlike some others, it's OK!
I loved the fact that Tessa/Bella was a woman mechanic and a pretty one too! I wish I had gotten some 'grease' education as well because then I might be able to troubleshoot and fix lots of my family's deadbeat cars. Maybe it's not too late to learn, but then I wonder how my nails would ever survive their femininity. I did help change the breaks on my very first car, but that was years ago and I doubt I could do it again all by myself. A woman can imagine though! So, back to the movie, I thought it was good. I would watch it again because the ending was a bit distracted when my family came home. It's a plain, cute, family film with not a lot of depth to it. I thought it was a Disney made-for-TV movie, but I looked and it was Warner Brothers and I watched it on the Freeform channel. I'd rather watch this than a low-budget B-rated movie that just makes no sense why it was put on film. At least it's a fantasy. Solid 6 star rating from me!
