As the proud owner of an amazing pair of larger-than-life boobs , I’ve been on the hunt for the perfect sports bra for what seems like an eternity. I’ve tried out countless bras that never quite make the grade. Even if a bra looked supportive on the rack, I’d eventually discover that it wasn’t designed for a person with my 34I cup size. The ones that gave support usually also resulted in uni-boob syndrome.
For years, I was forced to double up on sports bras to avoid boob bounce—the uncomfortable pull of gravity that typically occurs when I’m engaged in any type of running or jumping. Treadmills, running tracks, and even ellipticals were my worst workout enemies.
Then I realized: I shouldn’t be restricted to the slow lane just because of my bra size. So, I set out on a mission to find sports bras that would work with my above-average breasts . I ran, jumped, danced, and did some heavy sweating in 10 different bras. In the end, I found a few high-intensity sports bras that could quite literally hold me down. I used to think that I didn’t have much passion for running, but the truth is I just needed a little extra wardrobe assistance to find my stride.

Getting into this versatile bra feels like strapping into a bulletproof vest. There’s Velcro on the shoulder straps and around the band on the ribcage to ensure the best personal fit possible (get it, SheFit?). The zipper in the front also made it easy to put on. This bra makes my list of favorites because it actually kept my boobs steady while running on the treadmill .

The built-in J-hook makes it easy to convert this bra into a racerback style. It’s designed with molded cups as well as an underwire just like a regular bra, which is great for avoiding possible signs of uni-boob and for stopping boob sweat from gathering in uncomfortable places (anyone with big boobs knows what I’m talking about).
When I first saw this bra, I was a little confused about how I was going to actually put it on. The crossback design made it a little tough to pull the fabric over my breasts, and I had to do a bit of contorting to get the hooks closed in the back. Honestly, I could have used a second set of hands. But in the end, the slight struggle was worth it. My bust felt locked and loaded to take on almost any workout, plus the bra looked and felt great as I glided on the elliptical. Although this bra doesn't come in my size, the largest option still got the job done—and well.
I’ve been a fan of Wacoal bras for a while now, and their sports bra is no exception. Created with an underwire, this bra is excellent at reducing bounce. It’s super comfortable to wear during any high-intensity activity, and it lasted through every minute of my strength training workout. Plus, the separate cups keeps me from getting the uni-boob look that is so common with sports bras. This sports bra didn't quite come in my size (so close!) but the G-cup version still made for a great option for me.
Created specifically for C cups and above, this simple sports bra closes with about 10 hooks in the front. It does its job so well, I truly believe this is a miracle undergarment. I. LOVE. THIS. BRA. I even ran outside on rocky terrain and up hills while wearing it, and my boobs did not budge a single centimeter.
